DCU Civilizations - Batman

This mod is a new Civilization, Gotham and a new leader, Batman.

Gotham City comes with Wayne Manor*, which yields +3 Gold per turn. At the same time, Gotham is riddled with corruption and crime. This gives the civilization an unhappiness penalty until the Batcave is built (requires Civil Service). The Batcave is a National Wonder which provides a number of bonuses, including the ability to train new units with the Hero Promotion. Heroes trained by Batman receive a +60 XP boost. Because Heroes refuse to attack civilians, they suffer a harsh penalty when attacking enemy cities.
(*If the capital is captured, Wayne Manor will be destroyed. However, it can quickly be rebuilt in another city. )

The Dark Knight is the ultimate detective and nothing slips past him. Here on Earth-Civ, Batman brings with him unparalleled espionage might. With Batman's espionage saavy and his numerous allies (e.g. Robin), Gotham receives +4 spies.

Later on, Gotham will be able to build Thomas Wayne Memorial Hospitals, which replace regular hospitals, provide a bigger food boost, along with a happiness bonus. Thomas Wayne Memorial Hospitals are backed by the Wayne fortune and consequently, they are cheaper to build than standard hospitals.
