Description
Have you ever wished that the Temple of Ulrik was guarded by Swords of Ulrik instead of generic Greatswords? Or that your vampiric crusade through the Moot would encounter the Stir River Patrol? Then this is the mod for you.

This mod adds eight of The Empire's unique provincial units as small garrisons to appropriate landmarks from their respective provinces:

The Imperial Palace - Carroburg Greatswords
The Great Temple of Ulrik - Swords of Ulrik
The Grand Cauldron - Stir River Patrol
Marienburg Port - The Bordermen
Nuln Gunnery School - The Emperor's Wrath
Blazing Sun Chapterhouse - Sootson's Guns
Sigmar's Rock - Knights of the Everlasting Light
Pfeildorf Wine Market - Eldred's Guard

FAQ
1) Is this mod save compatible? What will happen if I subscribe to this mod mid-campaign?
Yes it is save compatible, as it does not touch startpos. It should work fine if enabled mid-game.

2) What is the mod not compatible with?
This mod may not play well with other garrison mods, or anything that modifies the Marienburg port. However, any incompatibilities are most likely to manifest as unintended effects (such as one mod overriding the other) rather than a crash.

A version of this mod is bundled into Reporting For Duty so if you use that mod, you don't need to use this one as well.

3) What does it do to campaign balance?
As the adjustments are all to garrisons, no faction will become more offensively powerful, and where possible I was also sure to replace existing units, to keep things similar. A few regions have a little more protection, but it's no big change.

Thanks
I'd like to thank PrussianWarfare for inspiring me to take up modding, and sharing a load of useful stuff, including his format for mod descriptions, which included a section for thanks. Thanks Prussian! Try his mod Public Order Expanded for a taste of his wonderful work.

This was my first ever mod, but I wouldn't have managed it without the Da Modding Den. Their resources are excellent, and the people there are super friendly to the new modder, so come join us if you're interested in modding![discord.gg]

I've just pushed an update - no actual changes, but should have removed the out-of-date notice. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Thanks @John Austin!

Hey LT_Sherpa, thanks for asking. Reporting for duty has a version of this mod in it that’s been balanced slightly to fit in (different numbers of units). If you have that mod, you don’t need this one.

Hi. Just double checking - is this mod folded into Reporting for Duty, like your wizard/captain mods? Or is it doing something subtly different? Thanks.

Hey all, if you like this mod, you may enjoy my new mod - High Five! It's a mini-mod that gives the Ubersreik Heroes their full set of abilities & spells. Please take a look :)

Yeah there already is, but it just feels a tadbit basic
