Description
Junkers F 13a (1:1 Scale)

Click Here for the floatplane variant.

This is a recreation of Junkers F 13 which is 100 year old 6 seater first all-metal civil aircraft. It was the first airplane specifically designed as passenger airplane rather than converted ww1 era warplanes.

It's a light airplane, very long flight duration (up to 5 real hours) with low fuel consumption. It can takeoff and land very short runways or small flat areas such as icebergs.

It would be more user friendly if some modern modifications would've been made if you plan to use it in career because of its old age. First of all, auto-starting engine, instead of swinging propeller by hand.

FEATURES
- Comfortable passenger cabin with electric light, heater, clock, sliding side windows and communication window
- Open cockpit for pilot and assistant (or can be used for another passenger)
- Cargo/baggage compartment
- Engine compartment
- Electric motor starting engine
- Trimming fuel tank on tail
- Stabilizer
- Inventories

PILOT'S MANUAL

5. Throttle to 20-25%
6. Ignition Magneto switch ON
7. Press and hold "Swing Propeller" button until the engine starts.

10. Apply full throttle to takeoff.

I removed the old "long" version of pilot's manual. No need for that anymore, since you can swing the propeller and also on/off the brakes inside the cockpit.
