Do not retreat if you are nowhere to retreat. Stand and fight.
Use soldiers and thanatos - they are meelee units who can stand and fight.
use spikes to make such thing as where to retreat. They are must have. But again - soldiers. Snipers get killed before they can trap harpy to spikes. It is second line optional unit. Defense unit for been placed on Watch Towers. Nothing else.

Hopefully I'm not the only one who yelled "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?". Literally the only thing that went wrong here was your play. You weren't "bullied". This wasn't a hard situation to deal with. It would've gone better for you if you had literally done nothing at all and just let your units default behavior play out.

its even better when you kill one but lose your ranger and 3 more pop out cuz they herd sniper fire. feel for ya man

My advice is don't fire until you get enough snipers.

U cant escape with snipers, if you would let them shoot the bitch probably just one of your snipers would have died and you could use the ranger to distract the other zombies :P
