HMSF BC Hood

Description
In times of facing daunting enemies the Aerial Navy always has its allies close by to insure complete strategic victory. Ever ready to join the fight, The Royal Sky Fleet has completed work on their first fighting vessel; the HMSF BC Hood. A truly outstanding battlecruiser, the Hood capitalizes on her speed and sheer firepower to dominate the battlefield and respond to threats with swift efficiency, and can utilize her excellent protective suite of armor and damage control bubbles to outlast even the toughest opponents in prolonged engagements.

While the Hood is not as quick as Iowas or Burkes, she can still make speeds in excess of 75 mph when dashing; no mean feat for a warship of this size, while still retaining the offensive and defensive capabilities befitting of a true battlecruiser. She is also quite maneuverable, being of slightly smaller length than the Iowas, the Hood is capable of slightly tighter turns and quicker stationary rotation due to her oversized engines and large rudders.

Thanks to the sheer lifting might of the Flying Fortress and Powerlifter hovers, the Hood can achieve a maximum cruising height of more than 90 feet above the ground! This allows for complete disregard to terrain-based obstacles when maneuvering, as is the par with Aerial Navy and now Royal Sky Fleet warships, allowing the Hood to take advantage of difficult terrain and fight engagements on its terms. The Hood also includes easy access Hover Power and Bubble controllers in the rear, and a hidden but very accessible means to adjust the Pitch Trim Gyros manually for permanent changes allowing for leveling when over uneven terrain or conducting bombardments at extreme range!

The Hood’s astonishing firepower allows for guided and unguided attacks on enemies of all strengths (point the bow of the Hood at an enemy for devastating strikes!), even possessing a respectable anti-aircraft missile battery like the Iowas, while remaining protected with the extreme power reserve to be had from the hundreds of batteries stored in the hull, powering many repair and shield bubbles, ensuring she will be more survivable and explosion proof than her real life counterpart.

Able to be spawned in campaign, the Hood offers extreme firepower, protection, and great maneuverability. While her price tag of $5.5M BB is not cheap, it is more than $1M BB less expensive than the Iowas while retaining most of her capabilities, meaning you have one hell of a warship and more money left over to expand your fleet and conquer the skies! In the true spirit of the Royal Navy use your Hood to conquer new lands while spearheading assaults or assisting allies in the fight towards victory!

Manufactured Per 1.3.7 Campaign

P.S.
For multiplayer usage remove the GSO fuel gauge located in the forward bridge, this also works for the Iowa and Burke class warships!
