Description

DISHMAS Highwayman skin


Dismas got new fancy gear, cosplay inspired by Corvo Attano from Dishonored series.



Compatibility

Uses Antis new naming system, so shouldn't overlap, or conflict with any other mods.
No gameplay changes, does not overwrite vanilla skins, adds one new skin for Highwayman.

Things of note

Some fx don't quite fit, but you can probably see I tried to keep him as close to the original character, so that the fx would match without much weirdness.

Art is hand-drawn, with few exceptions. Pants are vanilla (slight color change), and in most art, hands are vanilla, just recolored to skin color.

I might release edited fx for Highwayman, that would go better with various custom skins available atm.

Optimization

I'm going to upload optimized/compressed files to Nexus, once I make upload there. This mod is pretty small, but as option for those who might want full optimization.

this is so cool, i'm doing my version of the highwyaman but i cant get rid of the scarf, because i need to do a solid mask for the head :ccskull:

Great looking. Have you ever thought about doing a Red Hood version? He uses a knife and pistol in the comics. Just a thought.

A lot of people don't understand how much time people put in to modding, a single class can take 3 months, up to over a year. When people just take your work, you lose all control how it is presented forward. I have seen cases people monetizing others content (happened to me, non DD mod), and even spreading malware with it. So it wasn't "stolen", it was stolen. Even skins can take stupid amount of time, they seem simple, but they are not easy to do for this game, when you branch away from the original design. It's easier to do new character than a skin for existing one, if you have access to the Spine program.

Anyway, I think I have given permission to use my stuff every single time, someone has asked.

So yes, if you wanna make skin pack, or someone else, you get my permission to use my skins, put a link to my workshop or something, that is enough.

Hello I saw that you were one of the skin creators who were "stolen" by Doctrine Dark in his "All Skin Set" mod. I allow myself as a simple user to make you a proposal that I also send to other mod creators that I have seen react in the comments:
Wouldn't you be interested in uniting yourself with another creator to make a skin compilation where you would all be quoted? In order to compete with Doctrine Dark. See even better make an SFW and NSFW version because I admit that I am one of those who do not really like walking the dark hallways of the dungeon with naked adventurers or even worse ...
