ASW-G-08 FRANTIC-O-PLAN “BARBATOS”

This vehicle is built for Frantic’s ekranoplan build challenge. It has gone through a lot of changes, like a different cockpit and removal of a total of 6 engines from the original design due to them being too powerful for the pivots that holds the engine nacelles.This craft is a homage to MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: IRON BLOODED ORPHANS, so I gave it the tekkadan’s logo on the tail stabiliser and the name of GUNDAM BARBATOS on the engine nacelles. CONTROLS+STARTUP
Enter the craft from the hatch located at the back end of the craft, there is a ladder leading to a hatch on the roof. Walk to the front and jump into the compact pilot seat at the front of the craft.Press the one single button located in front of the control joystick of the seat. The throttle lever is on the right of the button.WARNING! THERE IS A SAFETY SPEED LIMIT! Although it is possible to go over the limit by about 10-20 on the throttle lever.On the left of the button there will be the key and button to disengage the altitude hold, which turns the craft into a space shuttle.

AGILITY:
PITCH: AUTO. IF YOU DISENGAGE ALT HOLD, SPACE SHUTTLE.
YAW: SMOOTH AS BUTTER AND SWIFT.
ROLL: THERE IS NO ROLL ON THIS THING.
