1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird

Description
If you are a fan of this vehicle, you can also check out my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, which, much like the real thing, is based off the same car.

Features:
  • Faithful recreation of the '70 Road Runner Superbird, with the interior and exterior made as detailed as could be with respect to Stormworks blocks, care has been made so that stuff like the engine bay or interior is laid out more or less like the real thing.
  • Full opening hood, doors, trunk
  • Seating for four
  • 4 speed manual transmission.
  • Full lighting (hi/low beams, brakes, turn signals, licence plate lights)

How to drive:
  • Start the car
  • Disengage handbrake (located next to the drivers door)
  • Turn the key (other side of the wheel)
  • Apply throttle (Clutch automatically functions in 1st and reverse)
  • Shift with the Up/Down arrow keys
    Driving notes:
  • Transmission will automatically downshift into first if the RPM gets too low to prevent stalling
  • Gear pattern is 4-3-2-1-N-R. Car starts off in first, downshift to get into neutral or reverse.

Additional Controls:
  • Hood latch is located directly below the driver's seat
  • Headlight and 4-way flasher controls are located on the dash
  • High beam controls are foot operated and located in the footwell (or press 2) like the IRL car

Other notes
  • Due to the slightly wonky Stormworks tire traction, this Road Runner is rear-biased AWD, with 15% power being sent to the front axle. If you wish to change this, select the 1x1x1 microcontroller above the driver's seat and you can change it anywhere between 0% (entirely RWD) or 50% (50/50) torque split with the slider
  • The alternator is clutch driven, it only pulls enough power to keep the battery charged. It's normal for the alternator output on the dash to peak after starting and then go down to very little.

I can assure you it does not, make sure you are playing on the stable branch (as experimental has wheel changes that have been canned) and that you are shifting into the other gears as it is not an automatic transmission and will pin the limiter in 1st if you don't use the arrow keys.

I loved the R/T soo much I took it in the workshop and the first thing I did was try and put the fin on there, although I was gonna try and make the Daytona, not the Superbird. Eitherway, GREAT execution it looks awesome!
