G-5 class torpedo boats

A torpedo boat developed in the Soviet Union in the 1930s. An enlarged version of the previous Sh-4 class, the G-5 was designed to rush into enemy vessels, launch both torpedoes on it's back and then retreat, though for most of their service they were used in other roles such as escorts and makeshift transports. Being made of duralumin made them highly susceptible to corrosion however, requiring the boats to be removed from water after a few days of use. Despite this they saw widespread use with the soviet navy, with some being captured by Spain and Finland, and others transferred to North Korea.
