IMPORTANT: I do not have plans to update this further, but will probably add it to Warhammer 3 upon release. This mod is stable and should not need further updating. If the launcher says the mod is outdated, that does not mean it will not work. With that said, if you run into specific issues, please let me know and I'll still look into them.

Description:
Welcome to the Resource Expansion Project! This mod will combine my current and future resource additions.

At present, this includes:

Skavenblight - Added flesh farms (pastures for other races)

Karak Eight Peaks - Added gold and kept goats as they were, so you can have both.

This mod does not edit Startpos, so can be used with other mods that do edit that. One that I highly recommend provides additional building slots and can be found here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1553866321

I'm open to suggestions, but will probably start with major settlements. In order to avoid Startpos edits, it is a requirement that settlements I add resources to are unique. (Altdorf, Karak Eight Peaks, Hexoatl, etc.)

FAQ

Q: Is this compatible with ...
A: Probably. This adds files rather than changing them and should be compatible with just about everything. I use over 40 mods myself and this works. Let me know if you discover a specific conflict and I'll see what I can do.

Q: Is this save game compatible?
A: You can add the mod at any time in your save, but will probably run into issues if you remove it mid-save.

Q: Is this for Vortex or Mortal Empires?
A: It works in both.

Q: If the settlement has 2 resources, why can I only see one icon?
A: Without editing the actual User Interface, that isn't something I can fix. You'll still see both building chains, but the settlement name will display whatever the first resource in the file is.

Q: It's not working!
A: Disable your other mods and run just this one, then enable your other mods one by one until you find the conflict. Let me know what that is and I'll look into it.

Q: Can you add a resource to ...?
A: I'm open to suggestions! I'd like resources I add to be justifiable through lore or common sense. For example, it makes sense that Karak Eight Peaks would have gold or diamonds, and I can't fathom why CA chose goats instead. Now it has both.

Q: "Skavenblight is great-best! Give it diamond-gems and gold yes-yes!"
A: I smell a rat...

So this is still working for people (apart from small issues like Karak Eight Peaks)?

In Karak Eight Peaks I can see 2 copies of goats in the Resource section but I can only build & upgrade 1. Is this a problem on my end that I have double goats in KEP for some reason?

It should be. It doesn't edit any existing tables. The only exception would be if those mods already make changes that add resource buildings to the same locations.

I agree it need mod support just like this one. Only this one is now stable and safe for players to utilise mods without the worry of broken, fucking, campaigns.

Thankfully, this mod adds files rather than changing them, so when the game updates, my mod doesn't usually require changes.
