Alpha Historical Roman Legions & Auxillia Unit Pack

23 new units for Rome - 7 Historical Legions and 7 Auxilliary Cohorts. Patch 8.1 and 9 compatible. All named legions have new animation what makes battle tactic closer to historical reality. All shields patterns and Legions symbols are historical. Marian first cohorts got Silver Eagle with legion banner. New centurions and legions armor reskin. A new type of auxillia unit -mounted infantry. This mod receive constant maintains and updates with new armor reskins and improvement

-Legio quinta Alaudae (Fifth Larks Legion) sometimes known as Gallica, was levied by Julius Caesar in 52 BC from native Gauls. Was the first Roman legion composed of provincial soldiers, as opposed to Roman citizens. Caesar paid the soldiers with his own resources, but the legion was later recognized by the Roman Senate.
-Legio I Minervia was levied by emperor Domitian in 82, for the campaign against the Germanic tribe of the Chatti. Its cognomen is related to the goddess Minerva, the legion's protector.
- Legio vigesima prima Rapax (Latin for "Twenty-first Predator legion") was a Roman legion levied in 31 BC by Augustus, probably from men previously enlisted in other legions. The XXI Rapax was destroyed in 92 by the Sarmatians. The symbol of the legion is thought to have been a capricorn
- Legio sexta Ferrata (Sixth Ironclad Legion), was a Roman Legion formed in 65 BC, The symbol for Legio VI Ferrata was the bull. It also carried the symbolic she-wolf with Romulus and Remus
- Legio X Fretensis ("Tenth legion of the sea strait") was a Roman legion levied by Augustus Caesar in 41/40 BC to fight during the period of civil war that started the dissolution of the Roman Republic. X Fretensis symbols were the bull — the holy animal of the goddess Venus — a ship, the god Neptune, and a boar.
- Legio quinta Macedonica (Fifth Macedonian Legion) was a Roman legion. It was probably originally levied by consul Gaius Vibius Pansa Caetronianus and Octavian in 43 BC Its symbol was the bull
- Legio I Adjutrix Conceived by Nero and born in the heat of the civil wars of A. D. 68–9, I Adjutrix was an extraordinary legion. Composed of former seamen, non-citizens from Pannonia, Egypt, Syria, and Greece. The symbol of the legion was capricorn and pegasus

-Damnatio ad metalla ("those condemned to the mine") were convicts who lost their freedom as citizens (libertas), forfeited their property (bona) to the state, and became servi poenae, slaves as a legal penalty. Their status under the law was different from that of other slaves; they could not buy their freedom, be sold, or be set free.

-Legio V Alaudae Cohort and Legio V Alaudae Fisrt Cohort (with marian silver eagle and alaudae legions banner with elephant) -can be recruited in Gaul with the military heavy infantry buildings lvl 3-4
-Legio I Minervia Cohort and Legio I Minervia Fisrt Cohort -can be recruited in Iliria with the military heavy infantry buildings lvl 4
- Legio I Adjutrix -can be recruited in Iberia with the military heavy infantry buildings lvl 4
- Legio V Macedonica Legio XXI Rapax, Legio VI Ferrata, Legio X Fretensis can be recruited in Italy with the military heavy infantry buildings lvl 3- 4
-Damnati in metallum can be recruited with the slaves buildings lvl 1-2
- Auxillia can be recruited with auxillia barracks lvl3 or 4 in regions according to his nationally

Only one First cohort can be recruited
First cohort have 240 man and Rally ability for protect eagle
All cohorts have defensive testudo and phalanx (for use it as Guard button like in TW Rome) formation

New:
AI now try to make Full Legions with 1 first cohort and 9 cohort from same legion without mixt legions and with different auxilliary troops combinations
All named legions have new animation what makes battle tactic closer to historical reality. Use Fire-at-will button and hold ALT to change combat mods
