The RAN - Stealth Spy Submarine (NOT MP RECOMMENDED)

The RAN is a stealth spy submarine with excellent surveillance capabilities, as well as good utility equipment like airlocks and handling arms to pick up things from the sea floor. It’s user friendly and very stable while submerged. Snorkels let you both drive with diesel power and recharge batteries while still hidden under water, and the 10 meter long periscope even has a radar so you have full control over everything happening both under and above the surface.

Go to the engine room at the back of the vehicle
Flip the 3 power switches
Go to the control bridge at the front of the vehicle
Turn the “Power Up” key located on the center console table
Go to the driver seat at the front
Turn on either “Electric Engines” or “Diesel Engines”
W to throttle forward. S to throttle backwards
Turn on the “Generator engines” whenever you need to recharge the batteries



Alarm sounds can be muted if needed.

Obviously, the diesel engines and generator engines can only be turned on while at the surface, or with the snorkels raised (only when above 5 meters depth).

Most of the screens are touch screens.

Before you dive, fill the ballast tanks. This will help you sink while the thrusters keep you stable. Remember to empty the ballast tanks when going back to the surface.
And another quick tip would be to remember that water pressure is a thing, so draining the ballast tanks when deep down is a lot harder. Always you use the depth hold to get you back to the surface so they drain quicker.

If there’s water inside the hull, you can activate the bilge pumps to drain it.

You can activate the “Emergency Ascent” if you are stuck on the ocean floor with no battery power left. An emergency battery will then power the thrusters to get you back to the surface automatically.

The two seats on the sides of the bridge controls the handling arms. Activate the arm and then bring it forwards using the arrow keys to unlock it.

After being submerged for a while, the diesel engines may have some trouble starting again. They will start eventually. Just give them some time.

The “Dark Mode” will turn of all standard exterior lights and dim the interior lights.
