Description

"The cornerstone of the church was blessed 18 September 1853 by Bishop of Buffalo John Timon (the Diocese of Rochester was not formed until 1868). The building was dedicated, with Timon presiding, on 24 October 1858. The architect of the church is unknown, but design influences of Richard Upjohn and other church architects are apparent."

I made this church about a year ago.. time for a release I guess. Painted brick material is colormapped and can be changed using the Painter mod.

This church is beautiful and the scale is perfect. Churches, along with parks, were/are the centerpieces of urban neighborhoods, so having one in each residential area of my city gives the whole place a sense of community. I wish you could plop houses of worship like you can with parks to really enhance the image of what an urban neighborhood is traditionally suppose to look like.
