Introduction

This is an update of Crynsos' excellent Loreful Diplomacy mod. Updated with my own additions, permissions granted.

Information

What does this mod do? It modifies the number of diplomatic actions a faction, or culture, can make. For example, the Empire culture is incapable of sending 'Non Aggression Pacts' to any number of the Skaven culture group. The Dwarven culture group cannot invite Skaven, Greenskins or the Vampire Coast in to one of their wars.

The list of allowed and disallowed diplomatic interactions for each faction should be fairly obvious. If there is substantial providence in the myriad lore of Warhammer Fantasy, it will be represented here. There are exceptions to this though.

This mod does not alter personality groups or relationship values. It adheres strictly to the base interactions available through the diplomatic menu.

Exceptions and Special Additions!

These relationships work in reverse, also.

Cult of Pleasure (Morathi)
  • Can invite Beastmen and Chaos to join wars.
  • Can invite Beastmen and Chaos to form alliances.

Nagarythe (Alith Anar)
  • Cannot form NAP with Dark Elves.
  • Cannot form trade agreements with Dark Elves.

Yvresse (Eltharion)
  • Cannot form NAP with Broken Axe (Grom the Paunch).
  • Cannot form trade agreements with Broken Axe (Grom the Paunch).

Greenskins
  • Can form trade agreements with Greenskins.

Crooked Moon (Skarsnik) & Broken Axe (Grom the Paunch)
  • Can form trade agreements with Vampire Counts, Dark Elves, Skaven, Vampire Coast and Norsca.

Bone Rattlaz (Azhag the Slaughter)
  • Can invite Vampire Counts and Followers of Nagash (Arkhan the Black) to join wars.
  • Can invite Vampire Counts and Followers of Nagash (Arkhan the Black) to form alliances.
  • Can form trade agreements with Vampire Counts and Followers of Nagash (Arkhan the Black).

Skaven
  • Cannot form NAP with Wood Elves, High Elves, TEB (Southern Realms), Kislev, Empire, Dwarves and Bretonnia.

Greenskins
  • Cannot form NAP with Bretonnia, Dwarves and TEB (Southern Realms).

Thanks for the mod, modified it myself so Khalida can ally with the order races and such but man that was so much copy pasting but at least it was easy to understand and do although time consuming :happy_creep:

Final update for W2.
Norsca and Bretonnia may no longer sign NAP. Traditionally, the two are mortal enemies and will go to extreme lengths to destroy the other.

Thank you to every one who has subsribed to this minor mod. It isn't to everyone's tastes, and I am sure that there are plenty of things others would do differently, but I wanted to mould W2 a little closer to how I remember from the earlier editions. I will be bringing this mod forwards in to Warhammer III as soon as possible, so keep your eyes out! There will be no further updates to this mod, unless something has gone terribly wrong with this minor update. Take care, one and all!

what i meant is that arkhan likes me too much, imo there should be a huge aversion penalty, at least between arkhan and all brets (and maybe a lesser one with TK in general).
