~UPDATES!~
After a long hiatus, I have returned to this mod to upgrade it and make it more polished. Updates include
>Full pretty rulebooks, change their states to flip pages
>Descriptions added to all role and item cards
>Role, mission success and failure, and item deck references can be found on the sides of the table for quick rules reference

A solar flare rips through a robotic manufacturing station in deep space. The visiting corporate dignitaries aboard the viewing deck are thrown into chaos as life support begins to fail. Only two maintenance personnel are in the right place at the right time to repair these systems before the humans aboard suffocate. Unbeknownst to the rest of the crew, however, some of the fresh synthetics off the assembly line have taken the places human crewmembers, hoping to claim this station for themselves. Can these two trust one another to complete repairs? Will the face behind their visor be another survivor, or a cold machine hoping to terminate its organic masters?

This is an attempt to make a two-person hidden identities game I was inspired to make in a week long desighn binge after encountering the game "Are You A Robot" by Looney Labs. Other big inspirations here where Human Punishment, many long discussions of prisoner's dilemma esque situations, and some excellent ideas for the coolest advanced-deck cards from Auspicious Funeral. The game is relatively quick to play, but the item cards aim to keep play fresh by making your co-player's actions and motivations uncertain and unpredictable.

Rules of the game can be found in the notebook, and many of the components have descriptions intended to help learn and understand what the pieces are for and what they do. When you are just starting the game, it is best to start by only dealing item cards from the smaller of the two item decks. Once both players feel confident in the flow of the mechanics, use the advanced deck instead for extra challenge!

I mostly made this as a quick playtest version to share with friends. This posting is largely to test the steam workshop function on here as this is my first TTS game I've built, and to see if I can send this to any friends. That said, feel free to check it out! If you have any feedback or thoughts please drop a comment!

Thanks for reading/ playing and good luck in that cold, airless void!

Warben: Sorry for the delayed response. An Organic Sympathizer who shoots their co-player should lose, and likewise a Synth Sympathizer. I should update that in the rules! Apologies for the big delay in response!

Rooks: You stop immediately after 4 successes or failures, meaning the Robot has a limited amount of time to get those failures in!

Do you always play 7 missions, or stop immediately when there are 4 success/fail? Great game btw :)

If you are a robot with Organic Sympathies, do you still win if you zap the other player?
If you are a human with Synthetic Sympathies, do you still win if the other player is zapped and they are a robot?

Played with a friend, couldn't quite understand how to play exactly without it being too simplistic, can you demonstrate a game or something?
