Description
A version of this mod is now available for Total War: Warhammer 3. This means that this mod will no longer be maintained.





If you confederate Avelorn, you gain access to Dryads, Treekin, and Treemen.

If you confederate Nagarythe, you gain access to Shadow-walkers.

If you confederate Yvresse, you gain access to the mistwalker units.

If you confederate Eataine and the AI hadn't recruited Alastar for whatever reason, he'll be available for recruitment.

If you confederate Knights of Caledor, you gain access to Imrik's dragons.

Recruitment opens up 1 turn after confederating, assuming the former faction leader is alive. (If they're convalescing, you'll need to wait until they're "ready for duty".) The new units will be in the RoR panel (elite recruitment options) regardless of what buildings are available in each province.

Without this mod, you only have access to these units if the confederating faction happened to have recruited them into their armies... but factions don't want to confederate while they have armies, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


COMPATIBILITY

This is partially save-game compatible: you can activate the mod anytime, but do not de-activate this mod after confederating Yvresse unless you're starting a new campaign!

It's mostly a script mod, so it should be compatible with everything. Note that I don't use SFO or Radious or any of the other overhauls, so I can't say for sure.

If you're using SFO, what you pick for unit caps (Capacity System) matters: This mod doesn't appear to work with Factionwide Caps or Factionwide and Army Caps, however it works fine with No Caps (Other Unit Mods) or Only Army Caps.

If you're using shaky_rivers' OvN Lost Factions mod, then Althran Stormrider's RoR units will be available when you confederate Citadel of Dusk.


Recruitment Stats

Shadow-walkers - 4 start, 9 max, 20% replenishment chance
Dryads - 4 start, 10 max, 20%
Treekin - 2 start, 6 max, 15%
Treemen - 1 start, 2 max, 10%
Athel Tamarha Faithbearers - 8 start, 8 max capped, 20%
Spire Guard of Tor Yvresse - 6 start, 6 max capped, 15%
Sentinels of Astaril - 6 start, 6 max capped, 15%
The Skyhawks - 6 start, 6 max capped, 15%
Knights of Tor Gaval - 4 start, 4 max capped, 10%
Imrik's Dragons - Just 1 of each, ya greedy bastids.

Note that I cannot get rid of the unit caps on mistwalkers or Imrik's dragons because it's hardcoded like that in the database.

KNOWN ISSUES

I am aware that some of you have experienced problems when using this mod with SFO. Please ensure you're using either No Caps or Only Army Caps.

If you don't get your new units 1 turn after confederating, make sure the newly-confederated lord isn't wounded. You may need to wait until they finish convalescing.

Imrik's dragons aren't affected by red-line skills right away because they start at Level 0. It'll work as expected when those dragons reach Level 7 and up.

The Immortal Empires version of the mod is available here . Please keep in mind that IE is a BETA and as such there's all sorts of things that might not work as expected.

@kkc495 there are ZERO High Elf factions in Realms of Chaos, it makes no sense whatsoever to add this mod there.

Immortal Empires will launch as a BETA. It is unlikely modding will be enabled because they need to test Immortal Empires itself without the added confusion of mods. Once modding is enabled in Immortal Empires, then and only then will I port this mod over.

@Ewalden - Enough has changed that my mods won't be available on day 1 because they will all need to be retested, but absolutely a version for this mod is coming to TW:WH3
