Forbidden Fortress is a brand new Core Set for Shadows of Brimstone! It can be played as a stand-alone game, but is fully compatible with all other existing Shadows of Brimstone products! Set in Feudal Japan, the Forbidden Fortress Core Set allows players to take on the role of an honorable Samurai Warrior, a deadly ninja Assassin, a demon-hunting Traveling Monk, and even a mystical Sorceress, wielding powerful Elemental Magik to smite her foes! As a new Core Set, Forbidden Fortress is an exciting entry point into the world of Shadows of Brimstone for new players, while veteran players will find new Hero Classes, challenging new Enemies, a host of new adventures, and 2 new worlds to explore - the feudal Japanese Forbidden Fortress and the Belly of the Beast OtherWorld!

Shadows of Brimstone: Forbidden Fortress includes everything that comes with the retail version of the game (EXCEPT any Adventure Book content) and a few custom items (mainly tokens to replace miniatures and containers, but the Initiative Tracking system is not included in retail version).

2 Separate Map Tile sets instead of one double-sided set for easier use (Map tiles are labeled for easy searching and are custom tiles that actually fit together like puzzle pieces)

**There are different counts on the tiles because the Map decks differed. I provided an extra copy of a passage that was missing from the core set to match the Belly of the Beast Map cards and didn't bother to include copies of extra Fortress passages that lacked a Map card**
