(SV Tier 2 Class 1, Unlock Level 10)

Primary roles: CPU Tier 2, Warp, Storage, Light Combat, Drone Hatch, Survival Features

Built for XCaliber's November challenge.

The MCRN-Talon-T2 is a CPU tier 2 general use ship designed for many survival functions. In combat it features an armored cockpit, 4 rocket launchers, and 2 gatling guns. It has a small air tight back room with internal cockpit access. Other features include 8K storage, 1.5K ammo storage, 2 addition large cargo boxes, warp core and pentaxid tank, armor lock, fridge, 02 and station, Done Hatch, WiFi, and detector.

Offense and Defense

The ship is built with steel however the cockpit is armored. It has 2 gatling guns and 4 rocket launchers with 1.5K ammo storage.

Features Summary:

1. Player unlock level 10, CPU tier 2, class 1
2. 2 gatling guns, 4 rocket launchers
3. 8K storage, 2 large cargo boxes, 1.5K ammo storage
4. O2 + station, fridge, armor locker
5. Warp core + pentaxid tank
6. Exterior lights with control switch, drone hatch, sensor based lights and doors

Update 12/23/19 - Fixed O2 issue. It was escaping by the air tank. I added a partial block in front of it fixing the issue.

Yes its a nice looking ship but the strafe and the yaw or turn speed is really bad.

@jrandall Thanks again for another awesome ship. I'm coming back to Empyrion after a long break. I added a couple more retro thrusters to the front and upgraded the existing retros to T2 and she's flying great. Now I'm on to adding a shield and a bit more power. Really enjoying this boat!

@Evmeister88 While in 3rd person you can lower your view (and raise it) using the page up and page down keys. Set it to where you like and it will remember it!

Really like these ships but this, the Condor, and Marauder all have offset camera angles when I go into 3rd person. The Condor third person is way up high. I'm wondering is there any way to fix this?

Thanks Skel, and Loco Porco. I agree. This was built while flight model and CPU was being changed often with patches. The stats kept changing and it would fly different from one week to the next. I do need to take a look at it in A12 and see if I got some room to add more thrust power etc. I was to the Tier 2 limit when building it and just couldn't add anything more, but maybe that has changed some in A12 or even later versions of A11. Thanks again all!
