[Vanilla] [DLC] Cyclops MK.II

Description
After a failed attempt to make a vessel capable of fighting in any environment, against all odds, the Brotherhood of Makuta went back to the drawing board. Made from scratch, the Cyclops MK.II was based off the original specs of the Cyclops Battleship, but with extreme reduction in cost and weight, while still maintaining its effectiveness in combat.

Utilizing new technology, the forward Magnetically Accelerated Rail Gun (M.A.R.G.) uses hardly 10% of the power and resources of the original's gun, while also making the weapon easily serviced for repairs. While the new prototype MARG still cannot fire in a planets gravitation field like the original MAC prototype, the weapon is able to drop the projectile away from the ship should the firing sequence be accidentally started. (It has been reported by pioneers that this fail safe is good for bombing from low orbit.)

The hull is considerably thinner than the originals, and combined with its reduction in size, the vessel is far more nimble and capable in all environments. Due to its change in weight, size, armaments and speed, there has been debate among military command that this ship be re-classed as a frigate instead of a battleship, as its its status as a flag ship is questionable unless among a small fleet.

Regardless, due to the reducing the cost of the original vessel by nearly half, the production of this war ship has seen significant increase since it's inception, and the BOM has looked into implementing its prototype MARG into future vessels.

(This is the V2 of my original Cyclops Class Battleship, a hefty and unwieldy vessel I've had for years, but only recently posted. This new model was intended to make the original obsolete while maintaining its threatening posture and power, which i think i've done. Its incredibly weak to fighter squadrons, but otherwise is easily capable of punching above its weight from well beyond 1km range. Let me know what you think of it below.)

ok cool I will give that a try, thank you

@Elite One okay i understand the problem. The railgun uses subgrids to fire, which aren't produced if you use blueprints to weld it. There is supposed to be a small grid rotor head on the inside of railgun, between the welders with a projector and merge block that produces a 3x3 small grid warhead, consisting of 1 layer of warheads, 1 layer of space balls at maximum mass, and the third layer being a merge block to disconnect from the ship when construction is finished.

If you paste it into the world in creative mode, it will have the part you've been missing. (and the other extra parts that have been missing as well, like the armor around the railgun and the missile turret above the hanger)

I set up a projector, printed the ship. did not work for me, what are the settings you are using for pitch, yaw, roll and the other 3 settings? I have been trying to set up the warhead, but its clips into the rotorhead. one space out and the welders do not work, one space in and it clips and wont work. what am i missing?

@haxo 24,733 PCU, though i'm not sure if it counts the subgrids or not.

@Elite One How are you trying to fire the rail gun? I just downloaded it off the workshop myself, went to the main cockpit, and pressed 1, and everything worked as intended. Its a series of preprogrammed groups and timer blocks, you shouldn't need to manually load a thing.

haxo, i run with pcu limitless, but this ships projector is broken, the ammo for rail gun does not draw where it suppose to, it is a very slow and heavy ship. not worth printing out. other nice rails ships out there that work. I have tried for hours to get warhead to print where it is suppose to and it over laps. I dont know what the trick is on getting this ship to work.

How much PCU is this?

I made a blue print out of a war head, and loaded it into projector, ar there settings for pitch, yaw, roll and an other settings to get it to draw on the rotor?

I see the 2 pistons come out and light light up when I fire, I have the items for a warhead in storage, but is the projector and welders suppose to just fabrcate it? thats the part that is not working, am I missing a blue print or script?

@Elite One the railgun is a simple button press built into the ships main cockpit. If i remember correctly, the timer block is named "Fire MAC" Just tell that to 'trigger now' and it should properly fire a round.
The 'mac' is a series of projectors, merge blocks, and welders that construct a round made of warheads, which is then detached from the ship and launched via the gravity generators on the front. The large armor shields on the nose of the ship 'flex' when preparing to fire a round as a visual cue.
