Spirit of Rathlin. Car Ferry

Description
Based off the Spirit of Rathlin, operated between Rathlin and Ballycastle on the North Coast of Ireland. The real boat is designed to hold 6 cars or 1 HGV, although this one is better suited to 3 medium sized cars or 1 small HGV. The boat is capable of going to around 8 knots fully loaded but can do around 10 when empty.

To start the boat go to the helm and increase the throttle. Then press the 2 engine start buttons to the left of the helm. *MAKE SURE NOT TO LEAVE THE CLUTCH ON WITH THE THROTTLE ON HIGH AS THERE IS AN ENNCY WEENCY CHANCE THE ENGINE WILL EXPLODE*

To use the ramp, use the levers to the left of the helm, try not to put the top ramp at a right angle to the main ramp to not break it.

Length:28m
Width:9m
Max Speed:10knots(13 highest down wind)

I’ll have to look at again it was ages ago when I built it so I can’t really remember

Okay, Thanks. I know there is a radiator connected to the engine, and the radiator out flow does go to the engine coolant intake, however the radiators intake is just a pipe that goes to the floor and stops. It isn't looped back to the engine coolant out, it doesn't go into the sea with a fluid port. It's just a pipe that hits the floor and stops, Presumably once the water from the radiator has gone through the engine, there is no way for the radiator to refill, so it just goes dry and the engine overheats.

If your using my hull I would like to be credited as a contributor. Not sure what you mean about the fluid ports as the coolant goes through a radiator rather than being sea water cooled

Nice ferry. I think the reason it catches fire is because there is no fluid port on the coolant pipe.

I have been working on a redesign using your hull, is it okay if i upload it? I will credit you obviously.
