This mod requires an import. It is not recommended as a new game.

New Game+ boosts all NPC's (does not include animals) stats to a level that challenges even late game player characters. This mod is intended for those who want to start a new run but don't want to start from scratch.

I love the draw of getting my squad to 80+ stats, full cybernetics, and all Meitou weapons, but it quickly just becomes a game of watch your squad one slice through anyone and everyone. I prefer to micro and still have the potential to lose my fights.

Every npc gets a big stat boost (0 combat ability characters get boosted to 50, 50 gets boosted to 66 and so on). For those that are already at 80-100 stats, I boosted them by giving them advanced robot limbs and higher tier weapons and armor. If you want an extra challenge, set squad size multiplier to 2 or 3. I played a run with 2 and had a blast.

Note that not all NPCs got the exact same treatment, but I tried to keep the balance relative to the base game (all basic soldier type NPCs got about the same boost). Also, this mod won't apply to recruits; you may need a training mod to get new recruits up to snuff. It also doesn't apply to any modded faction/NPCs.

As a bonus, I introduced a new tier of weapon called Meitou+ so that you have something to collect and work for. This new tier replaces the old Meitou so they are in the same locations as before.

This is getting to be a long description, but one final thing I added is Meitou+ level weapons that were missing their meitou version in the base game:

Desert Sabre: Boss Simion
Spiked Club: Ghost
Mercenary Club: Lord Mirage
Naginata Katana: Sand Ninja Oni
Flesh Cleaver: Cannibal Grand Wizard/Meat Lord
Long Cleaver: High Inquisitor Seta/Valtena

To play as a true New Game+ mode simply import without importing dead NPCs. I'd love to hear feedback on balance/bugs. Please let me know if you find an NPC with stats naturally above 100 so that I can fix that.

I playtested this mod without any combat mods and balanced it with the vanilla game in mind.

Floatsam ninjas in captured Blister Hill have 60 attack and 0-2 defense somehow. Is it intended?

@Smash-Mash I would place this at or near the top. Typically the way mod priority works is if there is a conflict with a specific aspect the mod, the lower down mod has priority and will override any value. Therefore, the smaller more specific mods should be at the bottom.

If you have this enabled, you can't recruit some NPCs because their stats are too high (including beep :c) and also kind of ruins their uniqueness. Do you think you could make this ignore recruitable NPCs? (if you disable the mod their stats stay the same)

So. Haven't this mod with Death Note makes things more difficult if this is above it in the list. If I put it below it becomes manageable

@BeeTheImmortal so I checked mod files. I haven't modified any of the dialogue packages, only modified the combat stats. Did you make sure to import the save after downloading the mod? If that doesn't work you can try disabling my mod, recruiting the characters you'd like, and then re-enable the mod. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So far the confirmed ones are Burn, Ruka and Digna. Knife, Pia and Reva were fine though, so gonna go around and look for some more guys
