American Airlines Boeing 757-200

Description
This is my Boeing 757-200 American Airlines Aircraft.

This is my realistic Boeing 757-200 It has everything from full Hydraulic systems ground power, APU, advanced fuel system, and a full electrical system along with this there is an advanced autopilot system. there are also two functional cargo bays hope you enjoy it. Make sure to read the description first it will help you out.

!!!!!AFTER LANDING MAKE SURE TO TURN ON BATTERY SWITCH OR TURN ON APU, THIS IS BECAUSE AT LOW ENOUGH THROTTLE THE ENGINES DON'T PRODUCE ENOUGH POWER TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT POWERED.

!!!!DON"T REUPLOAD.

!!!!!!AUTOPILOT NEEDS TO HAVE THE FLIGHT DIRECTORS ON IN ORDER TO WORK THEY ARE ON NEAR THE TOP OF THE FORWARD FACING PANEL.

!!!!!!YOU WILL NEED TO SPAWN IN A CUSTOM MISSION. Here is a link to a Video by MrNJersey on how to do so. https://youtu.be/bGaNg5q6jS0

Extra Info:

To get in, open the door and grab onto the handle just below the button.

Keep in mind this is a very realistic creation of the Boeing 757, However it is in no way 100 percent realistic.

Works with damage, Be aware that the Gear sometimes get stuck and can correct itself. If not reopen and close the gear. I will be working to fix this. Not to worry though it seldom gets stuck.

About: The Boeing 757-200 was the largest narrow body aircraft produced by Boeing from 1984 to 2004 It was a short to medium range aircraft with a crew of two and two turbofan jet engines, either with the Rolls Royce or Pratt and Whitney engines.

Understanding Electrical systems:

In my 757-200 The control surfaces are run by the engines generators to mimic hydraulics. If N1 or N2 goes out the hydraulic systems will be weaker if both go out you will have no hydraulic power. When you land the electrical system will either need to be turned to battery or you will need to turn on the APU. This is because once the engines are off they are no longer generating power for the aircraft. When using the APU for power Turn on the APU Gen Power Switch and turn off by flipping the switch labeled APU cutoff and hold the starter until the APU Starts. To turn off the APU flip the cutoff switch to the off position which will close the cutoff valve. EXT Power means exit power which is the switch to turn on if you want to use ground power. Ground power can be connected or disconnected via the underside of the nose there is a electrical connector and a disconnect button.

Understanding The Autopilot:

There are 3 autopilot Functions starting with HDG Hold, Heading Hold, ALT Hold, Altitude Hold, and the final one being Roll Dampener. So lets start off with HDG Hold This autopilot feature holds you at a heading you put into the HDG Hold keypad. What values do I use? 0.00 is North 0.50 is South -0.25 is East and 0.25 is West. You can choose values in between these numbers to choose heading that you want. HDG Hold has a minimum throttle setting. the reason for this is because in a maximum bank when turning to set heading the aircraft will begin to decend below 77.68 throttle. ALT Hold must be on when using HDG Hold, this is because the ALT Hold is what keeps the plane at altitude when turning. However ALT Hold can be used separately When HDG Hold is off. Roll dampener can not be on when HDG Hold is on, This is because the HDG Hold has a built in Roll Dampener. Now onto how Roll Dampener works Roll dampener is a system used only to keep the plane from banking left to right and make sure the plane stays level. Now onto ALT Hold, ALT Hold will make you decend or climb to your altitude selected in the ALT Hold keypad. ALT HOLD has a built in set climb and decent rate so do not worry about the plane doing loops like the more traditional ALT Hold systems. Keep in mind the decent rate is slower than the Climb on purpose and is not a glitch. ALT Hold does have a minimum throttle setting of 77.86 this is because going any slower and the ALT Hold will not be able to keep altitude. Make sure to have Flight Director 1 and 2 on they are on the forward panel on the top left and right.

Start up: The buttons are all labeled and should be easy to find.

Turn on Cabin lights, Cockpit lights, Nav/Beacon Lights, Logo lights before start up.

First turn on bus tie breaker switches 1, 2 and 3 just behind the main upper panel.

Step 2 turn on the Bat switch on the main upper panel.

Step 3 turn on APU Gen Power switch.

Step 4 Turn on all four hydraulics switches.

Step 5 turn on left tank and right tank feed.

Step 6 turn on gen 1 and 2 switches.

Step 7 turn on fuel pump 1 and 2.

Step 8 Turn on Avionics on the main front panel, they are the two small switches on the far most bottom right and left side of the forward facing display.

Step 9 Turn off fuel cutoff valves on the middle lower panel near the throttle quadrant.

Step 10 On the upper panel turn on starter 1 and 2, bring throttle up to 35.00 wait till start, turn off starter 1 and 2 and put idle throttle at 35.00 percent. Once you are airborne turn off Bat switch and turn on nose gear turning lock. Step 11 turn on antistall. Bring Gear up after take off the switch is on the main forward facing panel.

Just so everyone knows the Turbine fail lights mean the Engines have gone below 3.00 RPS. And the Gen fail lights work on a similar concept the only difference is the gen fail lights tell you when the gen is no longer running.

Just a PSA to everyone None of these old creations will be updated simply because they are just too old. I am currently working on A Sud Caravelle SE210 3 to be my next creation so keep on the look out for that I would like to make more creations, but since I do high fidelity creations it just takes a long time to finish projects and some projects that were started were stopped for logistical and personal reasons. But rest assured I am working on some more creations for the future!

@zipzapzing94, are you stupid or something? It says that you have to spawn it as a custom mission. So just don't be too lazy, to read the description next time.

Love the American 757 my i5 Intel core computer runs Stormworks just fine when I turn out some lights like hanger and atc lights other than that spawning this in as a mission is quite easy it was laggy at first but I don't hate lag I learned to deal with it so I got in the plane started it up and started flying down the runway and took off I forgot to put the gear up first thing so the nose gear kinda broke on me so I will need to fix that when I land XD other than that not even laggy when you get out of mainland

I'm having trouble spawning it in it keeps saying "The vehicle you are trying to load is too large for this edit area."
