Four Digit Decimal Adder

This will add numbers as long as (a) the total is below 10,000, and (b) you have a really fast computer.

To use:

• Wait until the footprint stops increasing so that all the pins are loaded into the mechanism.
• You have to input each digit of your number using the keypad under the appropriate digit of the output.
• To input a number, set and unset the appropriate switch. Buttons are in normal calculator format, with 7, 8, and 9 along the top, then 4, 5 and 6, then 1, 2 and 3 along the bottom full row. There is a 0 switch under the 3 but honestly it is not wired up to anything.
• You can only input one digit at a time. To input a multi-digit number, input each digit separately. So, to input 123, set and unset the 1 switch on the hundreds digit, then set and upset the 2 on the tens digit, then set and unset the 3 on the units digit.
