ttt_stadium_2019

Description
Marcem Stadium is under new management! Now rebranded as the Turtle Rock Superdome, it is set to reopen tomorrow, following its lengthy remodeling process. The tired contractors have all left after their final, hard day of work. Sneaking in behind them, however, are the terrorists! The terrorists are planning a deadly nerve gas attack on the grand reopening, and it's up to the traitors to stop them!

Featuring:

- Custom/updated textures!
- More shops!
- Slightly more-realistic exterior!
- de_stadium-styled skybox!
- A working, but risky tester!
- T-Traps!
- Impractical, but functional, elevators!
- Food high in iron!
- Foam fingers!

And more... sort of!

I love the original ttt_stadium, but it's hardly played by most servers that run traditional maps. So, I decided to make an update to it. I was given the original .vmf file, so this is just an update/modification of the original.
Being that the concept behind the map as being remodeled and renovated, it keeps a "new", clean look for the most part. I am a complete amateur at Hammer, only able to use it because I dabbled a bit in Thief 2's Dark Engine, and watched some tutorials online. Please report any serious issues so I can throw solutions at them until they stick.

Credits:
-Marcem (aka Party Man X), the original creator of ttt_stadium (and de_stadium for CSGO), and a very good chap to just hand out his original work to me
-freepik and istockphoto, websites used for royalty free images that were used in custom textures
-TopHATTWaffle and 3kliksphilip, for their helpful Hammer videos
-SpaceDragon, creator of gm_modern_island_04, which I decompiled to use as a guide to fix my elevators when the tutorial video ones weren't working.
-Me, customized assets and modifications.

idk why but I really love this map. It just gives off a nice atmosphere. I also appreciate the well-balanced tester.

Sweet. I like seeing old maps getting improved.
