This parody mod was created just for fun and doesn't carry the goal of humiliating anyone. All events are fictitious. Ingame brands and names were also invented and don't have any prototypes from real life. If you're still haven't laugh from our stuff, then follow to one good advice - just turn off the logic and enjoy of this randomic mess.

In any case, you have been warned. If you got it and can handle with - enjoy the game!

Also, we want to say thank you for downloading this mod. We hope that in the future Postal 2 Revenge will be a good modding base for fans of the original Share The Pain, and the community will use our work to create their own multiplayer/single player maps and mods on it. That is why we released this mod with open source codes. It’s all yours!

GAME FEATURES:

* Description: *

It's been 8 years since the release of Postal 3 - the game that changed everything forever.
All this time The Postal Dude was unsuccessfully trying to overcome his depression.
One day Mike J, his old friend from Running With Scissors, gave him the ticket to sanatorium that located in one of the cities in the former Soviet republic. All of this turns out to be a trap with the goal of capturing the Dude and replacing him with the accommodating understudy, which will appear in the next POSTAL games. Being held captive, Dude gets dissociative personality disorder, and after that he is haunted by images of himself from other games of POSTAL series. Soon he manages to escape, and now Dude... well… Dudes... They want to revenge!

* Game modes: *

The following game modes are available in Postal 2 Revenge: «Revenge Coop», «Revenge Team Deathmatch» and classic «Revenge Deathmatch».

* Game installation: *

0) Subscribe mod. Launch game after downloading, wait for unpacking process, and close game then. Go to the folder through your Explorer: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\POSTAL2Complete\WorkshopContent\1904255481 and find P2RevengeInstaller.exe.

1) Make sure that your Postal 2 Complete copy is completely in English, and its original files are not changed by various modifications that replace game’s resources!

2) Run Postal 2 Revenge installer. In the installation path verify the path to your Postal 2 Complete. Make sure that Postal 2 Revenge is installed in separate folder in the root directory of the game! Here’s an example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\POSTAL2Complete\Postal2Revenge

3) Install Postal 2 Revenge.

4) Install Revenge MP Update on it.

* Game launch: *

Run the game through Revenge.exe. You can use shortcut or find this file in ../Postal2Revenge/System folder.

* Server connection: *

After you set up your character, you can go to the server and start playing. In "Multiplayer" menu item find "Join Game" (under «Player Options») and after that select «All» in opened window. If Revenge server is running, then it should appear in server list. Just click on it twice and wait the loading. Warning: Revenge servers should have distinctive names, don’t confuse it with usual Postal 2 multiplayer servers! It is impossible to play the original multiplayer with Revenge. If everything went fine and you got into the right game – congratulations! You’re in the game!

* How to launch server: *

NOTE! If you want to create your own Revenge server - be sure to read this section! Others can skip it entirely.

WARNING: this mod completely INCOMPATIBLE with old game mutators like xAdmin, X Patch, XL Patch and other. We strongly recommend to use TyperNew mod (which already integrated into the Revenge) instead of it. Just don’t delete it from Mutators section, if you want to use it.

So, there is a launch instruction: in the game folder (Postal2Revenge/System) there are three "batch files" – RevengeTDMServer.bat, RevengeDMServer.bat and RevengeCoopServer.bat. Batch files are configured already; it remains only to run one of them. You can configure batch file through "Change" item after right-clicking on it. The server name, administrator password, maps, modes, etc. are comfortably configured in the game itself, in the "Host Game" window, or directly in Revenge.ini (for advanced users).

WARNING! If you don’t like this configuration - configure it in the game yourself.

DON’T DELETE THE INI-FILES! If you do this, when the game starts, files from the original game will be created, which can seriously ruin everything! In this case, immediately after removal and before starting the game, use backups, or batch files MakeNewGameINI.bat and MakeNewUserINI.bat. Also, this mod completely supports GOG version of the game, so you can play together with your friends, which have this one instead Steam version, or vice versa.
