For October of 2013, I have released the final installment of the SCP Remake series!
A Portal 2 remake of SCP Containment Breach that lives up to its name.

UPDATES:
- Removed SCP 1025 and 714
- Improved SCP 173, 106, and 914
- Added SCP 012 and 372
- Added the Butt Ghost
- Map design is now true to the original game
- Added a blink mechanic
- New ending! Gate C!

NOTE: For this map and this map only in particular, I blatantly won't give a ♥♥♥♥ about any criticism. Anywhere else, I'll surely accept it. But here? Keep it to yourself.

If you want to know the exact reason why I won't care, here it is: This map is my final make for the SCP Remake series. I wanted to close off the series officially with a bang. This map is significantly better than V.3, and from that, I have pride in it. I wanted to end off the series on a positive note, It's much improved from the last version. And as for my reason for making it as much like the original game as possible, is that I like remaking games in other games. And only using vanilla game content to create it? That's my kind of challenge. No mods, no custom materials, nothing. Just vanilla game content. That's a challenge in itself, isn't it? Using only what you have to make something. So, this being the end of the series, I won't take any more advice or anything regarding it. I'm done with this, I'm leaving it on the shelf to rot away for the rest of time. Even if I have self pride in it, I don't ever want to see it ever again. So, there. End of story, the end.

Oh, I didn't think you'd actually play it, I just mentioned it to show my gratitude. Also I meant lightly misquoted as in stuff like him saying "Remote Door Controls" instead of "Remote Door Control System", obviously the dialogue is different when mentioning Gate C. Thanks for the insight on the death mechanic by the way!

It's been a while, but I think my reasoning behind the death mechanic was that at no point in the map can you actually proper die, you just fake-respawn, so you don't lose any progress while at the same time not borking up any events that break in Portal 2 because you reloaded the level from dying.

079's dialogue is different due to the fact that I made a new, non-canon ending for this map, as Gates A and B are nowhere to be found.

Also I'm not re-installing SCP again, but if you or someone you know makes a video of your recreation and posts it to YouTube, I'll gladly watch it. Assuming your drive link there is a custom level generation, since I remember that being a thing with the original game.

This is level is excellent, probably my favourite Portal 2 custom chamber so far. Killing all the Nine Tailed Turrets is surprisingly fun, massive props for making 914 function and making 789-J Cave Johnson is inspired. A couple things perplex me though, I'm not sure what the point of the death system is considering that there's a save-load function already in Portal and I don't see why you wouldn't just make it actually kill you instead, the portal that falls from the pocket dimension could've been the broken decayed turret as to fit with the original event and all of 079's dialogue is lightly misquoted, not sure if this was intentional. These are ultimately nitpicks and this map is incredibly good, so good in fact, that I recreated it in the actual game https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vOhDerrzKTCM61xJjtOPNmIX0-x1MOXL (seems a bit redundant, I know)
