A multipurpose frigate developed by Pravda Heavy Industries (PHI), capable of both atmospheric and exoatmospheric flight. The Nideggen class was designed primarily to provide AA cover for fleets, but can hold its own against smaller ships when necessary. They're also capable of carrying small ships, such as APCs or other rovers, planetside thanks to a cargo area in the front of the ship.

For building, I recommend this mod.

Makes use of the following scripts:


Features:

  • An opening mouth/lift, hiding a rocket turret
  • Cargo area, capable of storing one vehicle and up to 8 players
  • Self sustainable (has a projector for rebuilding, a refinery, assembler, o2 generator and survival kit)
  • Can operate on both Earthlike and Mars (Alien not tested)
  • 9 Gatlings, 1 Rocket and 7 interior turrets
  • Can effectively carry 12 offline players thanks to beds
  • Most of the system is connected, so it should be survival ready


Caution!!!:
I haven't cleaned up the toolbars yet, and the ship always has a gyroscope set to override. The first toolbar should allow you to turn it off, but the ship'll slowly turn the front downwards when its off. Sometimes it also does this even when it's on, but it's an annoying bug in the game that I can't do anything about. As such, do not leave her flying unattended in atmosphere.

Also, open the mouth when in combat, and don't close it when there is deformation near that part of the hull. The ship will spin like crazy when the mouth closes and there's deformation due to the hitboxes colliding.

Lastly, the gatling on the bow of the ship isn't connected to the rest of the system, so it'll have to be fed ammo manually.
