Omschrijving
After escaping from Vanessa's Manor, Hat Kid discovers a lost Kingdom, in there she see's Abandoned Castle with the Moon Tower behind it. she thinks there's a Time Piece on top of that tower, but she must beware that this place is full of spooks, traps and dead ends.

this is my entry for Halloween Modding Jam 2019.

WARNING: this level is very rough around the edges as i didn't completely finished it in time before the deadline. i've later finished the final section right before xmas of that year, but it's short and rushed because real life kind of consumed my creative free time. i'll probably plan on doing a complete overhaul from scratch for this level at somepoint. (sorry in advance for bugs)

Requirements: Hookshot Badge, No Bonk Badge (for Surfing) and Ice Hat (also, please disable the top-down camera).

LoadingZoneVolume by Drunk Accordion (SB64).
2D Camera DX script by Cavespider3.

Music is Mystic Mansion (Sonic Heroes) Remix by CFY 98

P.S. the reason why this level got renamed from "Subcon Castle" is because for the longest time, i did not realize (and i also completely forgot) that there's already a mod level (that's currently delisted) with that name by infectedfury. so i've done that in-case the REAL/OG Subcon Castle makes a comeback to Steam Worskhop. (sorry for the confusion and for me taking this long to notice it)

I keep having to try to use the scroll wheel to zoom out at one part. I shouldn't have to do that WHILE swinging from the hooks AND using the mid-air attack on the spiders... If there was a way to keep the camera from zooming in automatically, that would be very much appreciated.

So an update on my oppinion of the level, I still like it but I find that the newly added part is really rushed as you mentioned yourself, and maybe it's better if you removed it since that was not fun at all tbh. Or try something else with it.

Good mod! Even though it doesn't really feel like a castle, and the bone thingies are badly explained (as well as having kinda weird camera angles), the rest (such as regular platforming, surfing, checkpoints, difficulty, etc) is well-made!

This was a really fun level so far and I was amazed at all the camera work and how you made the level around it. I didn't know that all those angles could but put in place it was really neat.
