Cul De Sac

Description
A cul-de-sac is a dead end street with only one inlet and outlet, frequently seen in urban planning to limit traffic in residential zones. Vehicles who enter the cul-de-sac are forced to immediately exit, the circular bulge allowing easy U-Turns.

It is encouraged to connect pedestrian pathways to the cul-de-sac; filtered permeability. FP helps reduce traffic jams and increase public transport use - watch the linked video for a demonstration.

This asset pack contains four sizes of Cul De Sac. They all appear in the Intersections tab, even though Cul-De-Sac, by definition, cannot ever junction to anything. The Cul De Sac is the zero of the junction world.

There are a few other Cul De Sac in the workshop, but my version does not have any holes in the middle - cul de sac is not a roundabout. This is pure road.

No props, no decals, no ploppable asphalt, no hacky crosswalk removal mods, no sugar, no preservatives. Just a very simple shape, as it should be. No demands on the CPU.

That sucks! Is the author @whisperwalk still active enough to "grant permission" for someone to clone and fix this?

I guess this "dead end mod" is also a "dead mod" since it needs Network Extensions 2?

For noobs to the game, you should list what mods are required.
Luckily I'm smart enough to read comments before subscribing to a mod.

It is now possible to use this item without Network Extensions 2 by subscribing to RON and my NExt2 Replacement Cul-De-Sac Road

An upcoming release of RON will automatically replace the NExt2 Cul-De-Sac roads automatically.

I am working with Chameleon and Algernon to automatically replace the NExt2 roads with my asset set. If you would like to update your assets using the new Cul-De-Sac road assets from the Network Extensions 2 Replacement Roads set found here .
