The Rise of Palpatine

Description
The Rise of Palpatine is a mod which combines Republic at War and Absolute Chaos mechanics to create a deep and complete experience of the Clone Wars.

NOTE: This mod still works in the 32-bit version of the game, but not in the 64-bit version.

This mod offers a great variety of scenarios set during the Clone Wars, and you can play as the Confederacy of Independent Systems or the Galactic Republic, with over than 100 heroes and 150 different ground and space units. Some of this scenarios are:

- Naboo Blockade.
- Separatist Crisis.
- The Clone Wars (Sandbox scenario).
- Dark Reaper Crisis.
- Outer Rim Sieges.
- Operation Durge's Lance.
- Mon Calamari Civil War.
- Falling into Darkness.
- Droid attack on the Wookies.
- Crushing the Rebellion (Play as the Galactic Republic (Now the Galactic Empire) or the CIS (Now CIS Remnants).

To play this mod, you must go to Library -> Star Wars: Empire at War: Gold Pack -> (Right click) Properties -> Set Launch Options -> STEAMMOD=1894304623 To launch the mod you must click Forces of Corruption option when you open the game (Steam offers you two options, Empire at War: Gold Pack or Forces of Corruption).

This mod uses some content from other mods. Many models and units come from free releases, that are parts from other mods which the autors release to be used for other mods. Some mode that I have used as an inspiration are:

All of these mods are excellent mods, that's a hobby for me, and I love so much the Clone Wars and this Star Wars scenario. This mod includes lots of heroes and units from the Movies, The Clone Wars and Darth Plagueis novel. More content will be added soon to the mod.

This is one of my favorite mods and love a lot of things about it. A few things I noticed though:

1. Clone Sergeant still doesn't have an animation

2. Clone Sniper seems to only have a standing animation but no shooting or running animation.

3. Baby spider droids and Droid Artillery (the big ball ones) are glitched and whenever I "win" a battle they are never defeated. I have to auto-resolve and sacrifice troops in order to get them to die. Or drop another soldier on the planet, and wait for them to retreat... (Even if I capture all of the command posts, they still manage to escape)

I'd like to know if any of these issues will be addressed in future updates? Besides these minor complaints though, I love all of the content in this.

@D4MIT What modes are you playing? Im playing 1 Planet Start and the AI has been attacking me on galactic conquest and on the ground they have been mostly on the offensive.

Hello, I am having problem with land battles when attacking planets. It seems as if the first time I win the battle I lose access to that army and only then after a second battle can I win and finally take the planet itself. Is this bug fixable?

hi luis my birthday is coming up on april 9th if you can update rise of palpatine with new units like clone wars era of like the 332nd early empire tk troopers and hemlock rampart and mauls mandolirans plus no more ground battle crashes

Anyone else notice that you can't target the shield generator on the Bulwark Mk2? Super annoying bug that has my ships wasting shots on Bulwarks that are all dead except for the generator, while they ignore enemy ships that still have hardpoints and are shooting at my ships.

I like the mod, but every now and then the game glitches whenever i play any kind of galactic conquest and black screens which requires me to reboot my computer every time that happens to get it to stop.

ive gotta say this is my all times favorite mod for this game an absolute MUST have it has the biggest map ive seen like 200 plus systems and so many unique characters this mod is an absolute treasure and thank you so much to the people that helped make it 5 stars hands down im about to crack 1000 hours on this game 800 were this mod EASY so much fun again thanks cant recommend enough! :steamthumbsup:
