Yeah I just started playing DOS 2 in 2023, but I came across your mod and wanted to give thanks for your cool work. Loving the revamp of the food; makes more sense. I do think you might have forgot to edit cheese though, but whatever.

Having duration that are 50 turns or less make buffing from food an activity you have to engage in right before a battle, usually abusing meta knowledge of it. Instead, I think it would be better if food buffs could act as preparations that you do and last for the next 30 mins of gameplay. Ideally more to avoid a feeling of rushing because the time is ticking.
Side note, I think milk and honey is bugged. I don't start with more AP from it.
