I have created a reddit post to let more people know about this mod so we can get as many people as possible optimizing their game play and have a more realistic experience
https://www.reddit.com/r/hoi4/comments/dedmkv/realistic_production_project_overhaul_mod_of/
check it out :D

This is just one of the mods I have created to make hoi4 more realistic and fun:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1885413128 "Realistic Production Motorized" mod
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1876711222 "Realistic Tank Production" mod
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1872802864 "Realistic Production Infantry equipment" mod
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1890020731 "Realistic Production Pack" mod
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1889998070 "Realistic Production Aircraft" mod

The two mods below are *not* included in the pack if you wish for them to be just write in the comment section below... they do make major changes to resources in regards to cost and the ammount of resources on the map. Test it out and tell me what you think
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1900010492 "Realistic Production Naval" mod
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1904487362 "Realistic Resources" Mod

What this mod seeks to do:
#1 Make the production more realistic in HOI 4
#2 Make it possible to use late game technology without killing your production.
#3 make the game funner over all but not OP it is still balanced.
#4 Change the meta no longer will superior firepower and mass producing arty and AT because of how cheap it is be what causes you to win. All strategies are viable now.
#5 Change how much manpower is taken up reducing it and raising it in some circumstances. EI a single fighter takes up 20 manpower, half tracks usually fit 12 units IRL in hoi4 they fit 24 reduced manpower.

I will It is only updated so you *can* use it

The mod in its current state removes the armoured car from the research tree, thus you can't build it at all. Will you be able to update this to fix this?

I will take a look at damage tho

The reason I increased the ammount for motorized and decreased for mechanized is becuase on average they could fit 12 units in a half track but in hoi4 they put 24 units in. the motorised they put 12 units in meanwhile most trucks could fit around 30 people

I've been playing around with this and I like it, except it makes motorized divisions useless for a manpower-limited nation. It seems to change motorized manpower to 2000, but keeps the damage, defense etc the same. So 2000 man motorized battalions have the same stats as 1000 man leg infantry battalions. Seems like those extra guys fit into the trucks aren't doing much fighting. I'd keep the manpower and stats vanilla and lower the number of trucks required instead. Mechanized have the same issue, but in reverse.

thx elven :D

When you have village of 1000 people and every one have their own car that gives you 1000 cars, but it doesnt mean there are 5000 mechanics in the village. There are some mechanic that works on cars when they break. So that is pathetic to give 2-5 mechanics for every single car. Call it however u want, mechanic, supply guys, oil station guys, still there will be never so many people attached to one APC. The mod author is right.
