Sun Lamp+

Description
Note: this mod is no longer under active development. I'll potentially come back to this in the future but for now I have my time filled with other things. Thank you for your understanding!

A mod that changes the default behavior of the sun lamp and hydroponic basins.

Changes:

* Sun Lamps
- Increased light radius
- Doesn't turn off at night
- Outputs much more heat

* Hydroponic Basins
- Decreased cost, allowing 16 basins and a Sun Lamp from a single Geothermal Power Generator
- Plants in basins don't rest at night

As far as I can tell, the mod still works in 1.3 without any immediate problems. The sun lamp stays on at night at least.

man shame its not updated, vanilla sun lamp with its night mode is bullshit, and considering you almost have to dedicate 1 termo gen to it, its radius is ridiculously small

Lem, are you sure you don't have any mods that conflict with this one? It seems to work perfectly fine for me.

FYI, this mod is broken in 1.2. Sun Lamps seem to be permanently detached from power with the mod active. I tried rebuilding the sun lamps with no change. Sad, because I really wanted sun lamps to stay on at night, even without any growth bonus. I just hate the room going dark.

Gunseeker you never growed anything indoor if you dont see why lol
Growing four (4) plants requires at least 250W. Do your math

Ps. I know its a game, just answering to why a sun lamp takes so much energy.
