HK XM8[SCAR]

The Heckler and Koch XM8 weapon system was designed as apart of the objective individual combat weapon program to be in competition for the US army's weapon replacement for the M4 and M16's already in service. It was meant to not just replace the rifles already in service but the various grenade launchers aswell, though like many designs in competition they failed to do so and like most other attempts it was due to cost and or reliability concerns. It serves in the Royal Malaysian Navy in various DMR, PDW and multifunctional roles. A weapon youd find in science fiction, a reality.
