I swear to god, this dude predates sniper tf2 by 13 fing years and yet both of them are snipers AND from australia (or downunda in sonic lore)(i mean tf2 sniper technically only grew up in australia but whatever) so that means this is all just a hillariously massive coincidence, OR one of tf2's developers was either a massive sonic fan or a furry.
