Description

A multiplayer rotor turret controller

Additional controls for gun firing + rotation speed

USAGE

IMPORTANT : Turn off the MART PB if you are using this mod. The MART PB can be used to control other turrets


- Put down a cockpit (vanilla or modded)
- Put down elevation and azimuth rotors as normal

- In the cockpit Custom Data, put a tag for the cockpit+turrets . For example "gunner", "reargunner"
- Name cannot contain spaces

- In the azimuth rotor Custom Data, put the tag followed by: azimuth (on a new line)
- In the elevation rotor Custom Data, put the tag followed by: elevation (on a new line)

So for example, if your cockpit Custom Data is "gunner", your azimuth rotor Custom Data will be:
gunner
azimuth

You can have as many elevation and azimuth rotors as you want

To start the Rotation, toggle anything in the cockpit. This will cause the mod to detect the rotors. You can use Show on HUD On/Off

After booting up the rotors once, additional options will become available in the custom data.

Direction: Can be "1" or "-1". Switch the direction if the rotor is spinning the wrong way
Speed: Can be between "1" and "1000". Default "100"


UPDATE: Now supports firing weapons with mouse click
- Simply add the tag to the custom data of the weapon, then toggle anything in the cockpit

Left Click hold: Sustained rapid fire
Right Click : Single shot


Changelog
- Added the ability to toggle RotorTurretAddon On/Off for each cockpit. This is done with the "Show Horizon Indicator".

Horizon Indicator On = RotorTurretAddon Enabled
Horizon Indicator Off = RotorTurretAddon Disabled

This mod still holds up, even after the custom turret controller.

Also MART now works in MP without issues. Multiple people can use MART turrets on the same grid simultaneously after 1.200 :)

The mod seems to not work anymore with the current SE update (rotors/hinges keep moving after a mouse input, seems to not reset the velocity to 0). Is it possible to fix this? Thank you for the great mod! Not using the programmable block for builds is a nice PCU saver :)

I have been trying to use MART for my turrets but lately it has been weird so i chose to use this, and it works but anytime the rotors or hinges are turning the wrong way i try to change it in the custom data but it doesn't do anything and sometimes when i turn it off in the cockpit and i try to activate it again it doesn't work.

Yeah i set my older MART turrets to reset to a position. Would really like that with this if it's possible.
