The Unofficial Starbound Controller Support

Adapts Starbound's control scheme to be more controller savvy. The design is intended to be easy to learn and suitable for all situations.

Installing this mod requires you to create a new character, any characters made after installing the mod will not work without the mod.

(The image above shows a picture of a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller because it is the controller that I used when making this mod. But this mod is not intended for Nintendo Controllers specifically.)

The tool bar has had a complete overhaul for easy use with controllers. The item slots are coordinated to each directional button. There are now three separate toolbars as opposed to the previous two. The new toolbar has only four slots though, however toolbars can be quickly switched with the X button.

Fully Installing this mod requires a few extra steps

1. There is subscribing to the mod here on the page,

2. You will need to download a special control configuration. This mod utilizes certain button inputs that need to be manually typed in on the Starbound.config file. Download the Starbound.config file from the dropbox link and put it into the "Storage" folder located in "Starbound"

3. This mod was made and tested on the default Steam configuration for controllers. It is recommended that you use the default control scheme.
