Description
UPDATED: Works as of version 1.201.012 (Thank you Willy Gmod!)

This is a custom system built around the vanilla solar system to retain the original planet locations. I have added 30+ modded planets and placed them in various planetary systems roughly 20,000km out from the vanilla system.

The planetary systems include planets modified to be much bigger than the default 120km size. Their orbiting satellites all range between 19km-120km.

- Bylen (Ringed Gas Giant) - 1,500km
- Cradus 6D (Glowing Gas Giant) - 1,000km
- Gea (Desert Planet) - 350km
- Jupruna (Jupiter-style Gas Giant) - 1,000km

NOTE: Mod load order is crucial. I spent many hours re-ordering things until all of the planet textures loaded correctly. There are a few very minor issues but otherwise they all work correctly.

Additional NOTE: The UO309 Uncharted Object planet has a custom cloud that you can install, please see directions in that mod for more details. The planet looks fine without the clouds if you don't want to bother.

Yet Another NOTE: If you notice any issues with any of the planets, please let me know. Some of these planets are very old and outdated. They still seem to work, but may have issues I haven't tested for.

Thanks to you @TwinMinds to have been able to update it in such a short time, I delete this tutorial because it has no more use for the moment

This has now been updated to work on the latest version (1.201.012) thanks to Willy Gmod's info. I plan to start working on a newer (and bigger) star system in the near future as well.

Thanks to the comment from @Willy Gmod, I believe most of the planets have been updated to work. I may be able to come back soon to put up a corrected version of this, minus the two planets that were removed by the original mod makers. Give me some time and it'll be back to working (I hope)

Hello, I take the liberty of putting a link to one of my videos, I am French, so the video is also French, I show you how to repair the Geminus System world.

I reassure you, if you do not speak French, it is not serious, the video is enough to understand everything.

I don't, sorry. Most of my knowledge of the game is old, and with the weather update I'm willing to bet most modded planets are broken. Since Sparks of the Future just came out, no one has really had any time to fix their mods yet.

Hello, do you know a mod that's almost the same as yours with planets

Ok thank you @gutter for the detailed info and thank you @TwinMinds for your work.

Thanks for the detailed info @gutter. Some of those errors existed when I built the system and it had little/no impact on the loading or visual appeal of the planets.

@Antihero, some of the planets weren't even being updated at the time I made the system, so it's unlikely they'll get updated now. I highly suspect the Geminus System is completely dead in its current form.

I haven't been playing Space Engineers for a while now, but if the game ever settles down and stops breaking mods with every update, I may eventually return and revisit the idea of making a custom system.

Seems the main issue is with planet Paradise, regarding the atmosphere damage scripting, but Doctor Octoganapus is active and will update his planets.

There are many missing skybox errors but these can be ignored as the worlds will load without them.
There are 4 errors related to the custom ores blocks (the batteries etc)
I'm unsure if these would prevent the game from loading as they are block variant errors. (I assume this means they would be in the wrong areas of the G-Menu but I'm not 100%)

Many of the planets heightmaps can't be loaded, this concerns me as even if the planets load, they may end up being spheres with no mountains etc

In the end it seems (the new weather system) changed the workflow for planet creation.
Changed planets will need to be updated/recreated. I figure this solar system (as beautiful as it is) will not be functional anymore.

Thank you TwinMind, for this creation, I hope you create another when new planets with weather start hitting the workshop.

@TwinMinds Do you think it's possible that each planet will eventually be updated or is the Geminus system virtually dead?
