This is a version of Imperial Stratocracy - Education Foci that is compatible with the amazing "Better AI: Roleplaying Education Focus" mod made by Dragatus.

Please keep in mind that the childhood/education weights added by Dragatus will at least to some degree alter the AI choices from the standalone version of Imperial Stratocracy.

Do not run this compatibility version with the original Imperial Stratocracy - Education Foci enabled as they would obviously conflict.

All credits to Dragatus for making "Better AI: Roleplaying Education Focus". If you like his mod please subscribe and rate it accordingly, as my own changes are very minor and it only affects characters under the new Imperial Government.

While the new Imperial government type for the Byzantines/Romans is shiny and all, with it you can only employ landed commanders. This becomes especially frustrating with the Conclave education system, which is mostly pure RNG for the AI on which childhood and education foci it chooses. So you quickly end up with quite martially incompetent vassal commanders.

This rather minor mod fixes this by adding weights/factors for the AI Childhood/Education choices.
About ¾ of all male children with an Imperial government-type top liege will choose the Struggle and Martial Education foci. Keep in mind that these weights will only apply when the top liege is of the Imperial government type.

Female children under the Imperial government will also choose martial educations more frequently if either of the conditions below is true for top liege:

• The final Status of Women law has been enacted.
  
• Religion has a Matriarchal religion feature (for reformed pagan religions)
  
• “Feminist” religion (for example Cathar, Messalian and etc.)
  
• “Feminist” culture (Basque, Zhangzhung and Sumpa)
  
• If succession law of top liege is either 'Absolute Cognatic', 'Enatic-Cognatic' or Enatic succession

Should be compatible with most mods, expect for those that alters the childhood and education focus files listed below.

There is no need to start a new game for this mod, just load it up and it should start applying when the children reaches their respective age limit for the childhood/education focus.
Also you should ble able turn on and off Imperial Stratocracy at your leisure without it breaking any of your saves.

Imperial Stratocracy unfortunately alters the checksum out of neccesity, so this mod is NOT achievement friendly.

If the mod won't download or update properly for you, try to subscribe to the mod while the game launcher is running, or alternatively while the game is already loaded up to the main menu.
