Ever wished you could grow more than simple food? Ever wished your planets could harbor spice fields, tea greenhouses or drug plantations? Ever wanted to turn your food supplies into something more useful? Then look no further.

Interplanetary Agriculture aims at deepening your farming game by adding buildings, jobs and planetary enhancements that turn food into resources such as minerals, consumler goods, unity, research or amenities. Available for regular empires as well as hives and machine empires, Interplanetary Agriculture will make the stars blossom with life and wonder.

The mod adds the following buildings, available through technologies in the Society tech tree:

*Spice, Tea, Lavender buildings give access to Cultivator jobs, that come in several flavours. Spice cultivator produce consumer goods, Tea cultivators produce unity, and lavender cultivators produce amenities. All these jobs also create trade value on their worlds.

*Purifying Algae buildings give Algae Workers who produce alloys without the need for minerals.

*Flowers of Silence buildings house Shady Botanists who produce research and amenities, but also increase crime.

*Red Flowers buildings house Militant Botanists who produce fleet capacity and armies, but decrease stability.

*Lichen Mining Plants turn Food into Minerals at a favorable rate.

*The civic-locked Pale Tree Temples produce a large amount of unity as well as amenities.

The mod also includes several Civics that boost the mod's jobs and buildings, as well as a new planetary specialization, Greenhouse World and the ability to seed empire unique Planetary Gardens that bring various advantages to your planets.

The mod is compatible with Stellaris 3.0 and onwards (currently updated for 3.5"Fornax". It is not used by the AI.

Although you are no longer updating the mod, just wanted to thank you for maintaining it for several years, it was very fun to play with and a staple of my modlist!

I know. Sadly, I do not have the time nor the inclination to keep maintaining a Stellaris mod. I need to enjoy a game to put work in a mod -- even a simple one like Interplanetary Agriculture -- and as it stands, I find no enjoyment in Stellaris anymore especially with the stress of updates potentially breaking something. Anyone who wishes to fix the current issues and republish the mod is welcome to do so.
