Active Defenders of the Great Plan (Allow Defenders to function like a normal faction)

Description
-THIS MOD IS DISCONTINUED-

It might still function but you are better off not trying it. I havent got the time anymore to update my mods unfortunately, but they are up for grabs if anyone wants to continue them or make their own versions, anyone is allowed to do anything with any part of any mod I made.

Mods are all about choice, and the way Nakai was handled made me want to try different things with him as long as its not the vanilla experience, so this is another choice on how to handle Nakai. This mod is an alternative to my other mod "Nakai, Hound of Tlaxtlan", for those who like to upset balance as little as possible but still hate the Defenders of the Great Plan's passivity.

With this mod, the player gifts settlements and temples to the Defenders of the Great Plan faction just like he would in vanilla, but this makes it so that Defenders actually build buildings and field armies, making the faction a bit more able to defend itself and boosting Nakai's income because now the Defenders actually build income buildings and such, which indirectly means Nakai will end up earning more from vassal income.

Them being able to field at least one army also has a very positive effect that it gives them at least SOME value in the balance of power, meaning less AIs should randomly declare war on them. Usually AIs use many indexes to decide to declare war on x faction, and their relative strength relative to another faction is an important thing in their decision making. Since Defenders never fields any armies in vanilla, its power balance is always 0, which makes other AIs see them as a punching bag, which forces the player to enter wars in their name constantly. This should improve that to some degree.

I've modified the Defenders' personality to be a bit more aggressive than usual but they're still a minor faction and they usually only like to field few armies at a time, so in early game they usually run around with just one, for example. This means the vassal faction is less active than Tlaxtlan is on "Hound of Tlaxtlan", but it should upset balance less.

Obviously not compatible with "Hound of Tlaxtlan".

In this mod, Defenders of the Great Plan are only allowed to sack settlements, if you would like them to also occupy lands by themselves, you can use this submod: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1871036124

POSSIBLE BUGS
-Some people are showing Defenders to have a strange behaviour in which they can get stuck in mustering stance. Its hard to say what set of conditions causes this, but trying to look into it.

--If you have any mod ideas for WH2 you can let me know in the comments and I can see wether its doable/have time for it, I enjoy modding and solving stuff--

I hope this gets taken up into III by someone else. Even if they're kind of dumb, if they get armies that's better.

Comment part three:
If you use this mod, you will have a very strong ally for the entirety of the game, which may lead to balance issues, if that's a problem for you. I personally love this mod, for it makes the Defenders of the Great Plan very fun to watch. And if you are curious, I highly recommend it for the fun lizardmen shenanigans will ensue. :)

Comment part two:
Once you get them a sizeable amount of land, not only will they handedly hold those territories, but they will remain easily within the top three strengths for the rest of the campaign, and they'll field armies comprised high end units when they have access to them. From my experience, the defenders of the great plan easily held off, and repelled Grimgor's 'ardboys who where the top strength faction of the game, and actively raised several of their settlements.

As of 8/29/2021 this mod still works fine. The mod will work as intended, from my own personal experience, only if you have this mod activated at the very start of the campaign. I think it has something to do with which ai package is used for the faction at the start of the campaign. If this mod is activated in the middle of a save file, it won't work quite as intended, due to the ai getting confused on which package to use, so they'll use a mix of the default and the modded version.

Mod worked for me as of today, but the AI was spawning a lot of armies instead of just "one" or a couple.
