I wonder why all avali color never work. I really like the idea to have more colors to choice on character creations for Avali race. But sadly this mod and the others existing don't work.

@fortes_05 _metadata needs to be changed. Unfortunately _metadata cannot be patched with a patch/fix mod. Only the author can change it.

so uh, how do i fix it?

@Nillke14 The reason this mod works for some people and does not for others is that the mod does not have its _metadata set up correctly. It does not ensure that this mod is loaded after the Avali mod. There is neither priority nor includes set.

@ GasmisenFeik

hi, apologies for the late reply, i just yesterday received a notice of your comment.

So, yes, both player and npc's colors permanetly stay with the character after being created,
even after the mod that the colors from been removed!

The data of the hex colors are recorded in the files of the player and npc characters itself.
And most, if not all race color adding (and replacing) mods just add new color options into the game's code, and thats dosen't change how the game uses or reads the data of these colors by itself. which simply means that the new colors will still funtion in the vanilla game either way, as you guessed!

Okay so wait, if I'm getting this right in my mind, when/if a person removes this mod the new colours don't get overwritten or deleted (both NPC and player side) and is instead saved as "vanilla"? Just wondering since I'm thinking of subbing to this just for customization alone, so I have to ask if the player-side is also the same way, or if I delete the mod it'll revert to the "vanilla" options and get overwritten/deleted?

@Ember The Flareon

For some people for some reason not working if a pacth file uses "add" funcion rater that replaces colors (which this mod does).

Also if your copy of avali triage are downloaded and not in steam's workshop, download it with a steam item downloader and put the item in your game's mod folder, it's usual issue with addon mods like that.

There's a fix of replacing the race file with a identical clone, which build in has the colors - but not infallible to work

I'm having some trouble with the fluff colors for this race. They don't seem to show up at all. It's just the vanilla colors for them. Any idea how to fix this?
