(WOTC) Revival Protocol Charges Fix

Description
According to the game, "upgrading your GREMLIN will lead to more Revival Protocol charges." A Tier 3 Gremlin has a variable called RevivalChargesBonus that is equal to 1, so you should get a bonus charge. However, due to a bug in Revival Protocol itself, that variable is never used, so you still only have one charge. This mod fixes that.

You can also edit the included XComRevivalProtocolChargesFix.ini and change the number of bonus Revival Protocol charges you get for each tier of Gremlin, if you want to.

Just as a heads-up: This fix is now integrated into the Community Highlander 1.29.0 beta, and should be making its way to the full release later on. You can still use this mod with the beta if you use the feature that lets you configure charge amounts, but it won't be necessary anymore.

My appologies, in game description of the the ability "Revival Protocol" does indeed say "upgrading your GREMLIN will lead to more Revival Protocol charges."

BUT googling it doest tell you so @ManicTulip76 is still wrong

Thanks. XComGame.int contains most (~95%) of the English text you read in-game, XComGame.deu if you're playing in German etc.

@Dragon32: thanks man. I see you are still active in the community as ever, I see your comments in many popular mods and they are all recent.

So I have to take your words for it then. It's weird that the dev dont tell players that in ability tooltip in game but you have to search for it in the game files. In that case is that even supposed to be like that in vanilla? Dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong if you want to use mods to make the game easier or harder but I want to make sure that this mod fix a supposed bug for anyone want a vanilla experience.


@ManicTulip76: so you claim that anyone can literally google and find the answer but as @Dragon32 point out, you have to search for it in a game file, line 5746. so tell me do you have a special google version than anyone else?

@ManicTulip76: hey dude I copy and paste the text "upgrading your GREMLIN will lead to more Revival Protocol charges." into google and the only info came up is from Specialist (LWOTC and LW2) which are mods? so can you show me where it says so in the vanilla game?

Do not install this with LWOTC:

(WOTC) Revival Protocol Charges Fix - incompatible, LWOTC fixes this problem through other means.

Is this compatible with Revival Protocol Fixes, which allows the ability to bring your soldiers out of stuns and also allows it to be used on resistance soldiers?
