Mr Streamer - why another version of this?
Short answer? Paradox made a garbage interface between CK2 and Steam so even the slightest change means that its not recognised as the same mod.

Because Steam workshop is honestly terrible, I can't upload mods that have specific versions for them. I've tried multiple times to upload specific mod versions, like Game of Thrones, but they're still broken. From now on I'll be hosting version specific versions over at ModDB.

Many people have asked for it, so here it finally is - a full reimagining, and recreation, of the widely sought after Vanilla Congenital traits mod.

All work in this mod is made entirely from scratch but I have to recognise the original Vanilla Congenital Traits mod for being such a huge driving force and inspiration behind this mod. Well, that and the hundreds of messages asking where the download link to it is.

Featuring 35 new inheritable and lifestyle traits, with some offering unique gameplay. Even rarer, heightened forms of Genius and Strong. Once-in-a-playthrough random luck traits that give impressive bonuses. Plenty of new ways to min max and make the game even easier than it already is.

Why settle at just 400 personal combat in the Wolf Warriors? Why not aim for 600 personal combat instead?

Bear in mind that this is early alpha, so balance/traits/features/art will be subject to change in the future and the mod will be expanded upon based on feedback here and in discord!

I have tried to make this mod as compatible as possible by not altering or effecting the base game traits in any way. That means they will have all the base game values, and it means that this mod should be fully compatible with just about any other mod, total conversion or otherwise.

=== New Changes ===

- Triggered effects will now work correctly - Prodigy will be identified as a positive intellectual trait, negative traits will also be properly analysed during events and decisions. No more marrying off infertile, short, idiots to the Byzantines because they didn't know what the traits were!

- I'm no longer maintaining an unlocked and regular version, it's too much of a pain in the arse with steam workshop being garbage anyway. Instead I've added a series of age modifying traits that will be automatically cleaned up when the game starts!
