Description

INCLUDED SETS:
  • Bradford's Sweater (M/F, Torso, Arms, Legs)
  • EXALT Suit (M/F, Torso, Arms, Legs)

Bradford's outfit is tintable by default, but it also comes with the original un-tintable look as a variant.

The EXALT Suit has a black undershirt variant and two tintable undershirt variants. It has primary/secondary tinting for all variants.

Say can you port the armored versions of the Exalt outfits?

I have no idea how you're assuming this mod "replaces the packaged Firaxis clothing file with its own", because it doesn't do that. The .UPK that contains all of the mod's assets is named "MrKX1AExtras", which isn't a name shared by any base game package. Central's body part names in this mod's XComContent are unique, they don't overwrite Bradford's vanilla outfit what-so-ever.

Seeing that the mod currently has some 39k subscribers and i've never heard of anyone else having this problem until you reported it, this is 100% a problem on your end.

I use Notepad++ with search within ALL files in certain folder (this option exists in Notepad++) . It's fast and easy.
But no results. The problem is with a certain mod that replaces the packaged Firaxis clothing file with its own. These are two mods: XCOM EW EXALT Suits (& Bradford's Sweater) and EU/EW Ports: Extras. If you uninstal these mods, then the problem with dressing up Bradford in the Tutorial will disappear.

I'm trying to find a mod that replaces Bradford's vanilla outfit from the DefaultContent.ini file. But there is still no result.
I thought it must be string something like "-BodyPartTemplateConfig=(PartType="Torso", TemplateName="Central_Torso_B", ..." and so on, but that's not true. There is nothing similar strings either in the "Mods" files, or in the DLC files, or in the default config files.
I'm on the verge of despair.

All this mod does is add cosmetic parts, it doesn't replace other character's clothing, another mod of yours would be doing that. Last update i introduced tinting to Bradford's outfit, and i added a new un-tintable variant of the outfit to the part list. That mod, whatever it is, is using the default bradford outfit with tinting instead of the variant without it.

Question to the author: why does Bradford in the tutorial change out of his default clothes into a sweater and trousers, which are crazy colored?

for some reason the Suit vest, arms, and pants all are either invisible or pure black and untextured. i have no idea what is causing this.

Would it be ok if you made the Arms individual arms for those who don't use unrestricted customization? ^^;;
