BUILD NOTES

Aquaria is size 10.47 (10) server capable. It was certainly a challenging build! In order to stay within size class I had to be sparing with additional equipment. Extra O2, Fridge, and Food Processor Stations are optional as is extra sensor groups for lighting efficiency. Beware radiation Hot Spots in upper engine inspection elevators!! You have been warned ;)

I hope that you enjoy Aquaria!

@Shasvre Thanks! Very long time since I looked at this one. Maybe I should revisit it one day :)

Really great ship, much fun to play with. And the only reasonable size class battlestar! Thanks!

Great Build

Love the idea of the ship and even the design. The big problem is the Hanger pods are small and worse yet the height is a major problem as your sv can be at max 4 meters tall (even then you have to tilt it in) and really 3.5 meters is a tight fit. The fact it cannot fit large SV is fine as pretty much every design that does either has them landing on a exposed deck or hollowing out a large internal hanger in the ship.

Sadly fixing the small hanger is pretty much an entire redesign of the pods due to the lack of 6x4 hanger doors as the next size is 6x5 blocks.

One of the main things I really liked about the ship was that it was not a replica of any actual ship. Those always turn out bad. Its just some "other" ship that is a really unique class. Its clearly not a Jupiter because of its small size, but its cool that's its a much smaller faster Battlestar that just blends in seamlessly into that universe. I understand because of the Size of the pods, you get limited on parking. But there is a gratuitous amount of superfluous space on the interior. With some minor wall bashing you could easily triple the hangar space with out affecting the size of the ship. The interior design (walls, texturing, deco, ect) look fantastic, but the layout is pretty bad. Like a huge waste of space. Like to the point where I would basically hollow out the ship and rebuild if i was going to use it. A CV's first and primary role is to move your ships around.

@thegreatmajora Thank you! And thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Fortunately I spotted my error with the designation while watching an episode so updated it yesterday. I take your point regarding the landing pods.

While I wanted to style the ship close to the series it was always going to have to be more of a close homage externally and a game practical interior. Possibly in future I could release a unrestricted size class version with all amendments, bells, and whistles. First I'll need to take a little time out after such a big project! Thanks again and hope you enjoy!

Great Build. The Exterior Hull, Detailing, and Texturing is the best quality "Battlestar" Type ship on the workshop.

My only Gripe is despite the ships size, it has a very disproportionately small hangar space.

I would also like to point out, that in the show when you see BSG-65 that does not stand for "(B)attle(S)tar (G)alactica" - 65 It actually stands for "Battlestar Group - 65". Galactica, like a modern Aircraft carrier, is the central command ship for a small group of specialized warships. A battlestar is no different, So the markings on your ship "BSA" are canonically incorrect, it should still read BSG, or just BS-XX and the ships Registration number.

Ill overlook that minor discrepancy..... this time.

Over all though, well done.
