Description

Adds Eswatini led by Labotsibeni Mdluli to the game.

UNIQUE ABILITY: FORTRESS OF AFRICA
  • During 'We Love the King' Day, tile purchases are up to 60% cheaper for each unit trained in the city.
  • Earn Great General points whenever a city expands.

UNIQUE UNIT: NGWENYAMA
  • Replaces the Great General.
  • Triggers a 'We Love the King' Day in the Capital when born.
  • Grants adjacent melee units the ability to perform a ranged attack before engaging in melee.

UNIQUE BUILDING: ROYAL KRAAL
  • Replaces the Stable.
  • Has no bonus toward mounted units.
  • Yields +1 Culture for each Horse, Sheep, and Cattle resource in its city, increasing to +2 if the city is training a unit.

Been meaning to comment on this one. You did a great job with them, as it presents the country accurately and the uniques represent that well. The Royal Kraal is the real gem here, and makes pastures wonderful, especially if combined with the God of the Open Sky pantheon. The only minor issue I ran into is that once I used a second Ngwenyama to allow a different melee unit to perform a ranged attack on the other side of my empire from where the first one was, that first Ngwenyama stopped giving that affect to the melee unit adjacent to it. Don't know what was going on with that. Everything else, though, worked perfectly, and was great to play with.

Well it was released :) Sokoto by TopHatPaladin. However, it was uploaded to Steam at an earlier date and then just made visible on day 5, which is why it isn't appearing on the first page of most recent mods.
