Description
Kriger has provided you with a powerful ocean-tug and now you are ready for the next challenge; the hard and dangerous work aboard a buoy tender.

Vessel Length: 44 meters
Power: 4x large diesel engines
Output: Single Screw, fixed pitch.
1x Electric Bow Thruster
2x Electric Stern Azipods
Diesel tank of about 65 000 liters
Electric Generator with an ouput of about 1600swats
Aux Diesel-Electric Generator APU for Port or long stops

You decide where the power goes: to the screw only, to the screw and generator or just to the generator. It can be a direct drive diesel-powered vessel with a top speed of about 28 knots or a diesel-eletric precision-controlled vessel with a top speed of about 13 knots. Heck, you can turn off the generator, full throttle along with full throttle on the Azipods and you might reach 30 knots with favorable winds.

Comes with all the regular amenities: Mess, Galley, Forecastle, Berths, Officer's Berths, Head, Shop, Anchor Room, Stores, Cargo, Engine Room, Sick Bay and Bridge.

Unlike the older Mooky tug, the more recent Amber has an "easy" startup procedure. Turn on the Fuel Valves and Fuel Pumps nearby each engines then turn on the Air Compressors and Coolant Pumps and Starters. The rest of the ship management is found on the Bridge.

To use the buoy derrick you first need to rig it. Give yourself about 18 meters of boom cable and climb the ladder at the head of the boom to attach the connector to the boom. Reel in the boom cable and your derrick is ready.

The ship comes with an Active Stabilizer, Hull Breach Warning, LIDAR, Depth Sonar, Buoy Tracking, Touch Screen Maps and Weather Computer.

This workshop creation is inspired by the real life Buoy Tender the Hekkingen.

It is based off the hull of the SS Severn by GBDanny96. You can find the SS Severn here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1635608697
Thank you for your permission :)

You will need a modded workbench to spawn this. The mod is available here: https://www.nexusmods.com/stormworksbuildandrescue/mods/1

If you don't wish to mod your game, you can use the mission spawner I have created. Check it out on my workshop page!

The Weather Info is found here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1745481422&searchtext=weather

@Papa Smoky. I'm a non-paying member of Nexusmod and I can still get the mod for free. In any case, you can modify the build zones yourself. It's pretty easy and there's a guide for that right here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1712878555

The modded workbench needs a paid membership to get? any way around this?

@Zyxliii go down to the Engine Room, near each main engines turn on the fuel valves and fuel pumps, there should be 4 sets of those. Go to the control panel in the engine room, turn on the 4 Air Compressors and the 4 Coolant Pumps. Hit the 4 Starter buttons until the RPS climbs to 5. Go to the bridge and operate the ship.

planedude07 and Morlock; I have updated the description to include the mod for spawning bigger ships.

Hey planedude07, you need a modded harbor to spawn it. I'm about to edit the description pointing where you can get the mod. If you don't wish to use a mod, tomorrow I will create a Mission to spawn it and push it on the workshop
