Plot
"This is a single player mod (now co-op through Synergy) to Half-Life 2 about penetration of Gordon Freeman in Combine World through a portal which is in citadel of City18."

Instructions
Download and install Half-Life 2: Penetration to sourcemods which is located in:
Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
If you are on the Synergy 18.xx beta, you don't have to do any additional steps other than subscribe to the addon.
Then copy the folder called 1841540864 located in:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520
and paste in: Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom
Method 2
If you have Synergy installed in the default directory and are running a 64-bit OS, you can use this command in cmd.exe to make it easier:
robocopy /E "%programfiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520\1841540864" "%programfiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom\1841540864"
^ That is meant to be on one line, copy it, then right click on the cmd.exe window, click paste and press enter.

Mac Instructions
Right click on the finder icon and click "Go To Folder" and type in:
~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/SteamApps
In this folder you will find common, sourcemods, and workshop. Download and extract Half-Life 2: Penetration to sourcemods using an archive program, download this addon and copy the folder in workshop/content/17520 under the name "1841540864" to: common/Synergy/synergy/custom and when you start up Synergy, you should see Half-Life 2: Penetration in Create Server and also be able to join servers that host it.

Dedicated Server Instructions
If you are on the Synergy beta 18.xx, you can now add 1841540864 to your Synergy\synergy\cfg\workshop_srv.cfg
If you don't have workshop_srv.cfg, just create a new text document and rename it to that.
The content tag and first map is: "hl2p Penetration01"

For some reason, the server can't find the map when I use "rcon changelevel hl2p Penetration01". There's a message about CVLoader.

In spite of the name (and partly the plot), there is no nudity or sexual content in this mod.
Although, I am sure you can find that somewhere.

That is the official plot from the maker of the mod. I just added the one part of (now co-op through Synergy). I didn't name it, I am not quite sure if they knew what they were calling it at the time.
They might have used Google translate, as it was originally Russian.

okay what the hell did i just read? is gordon getting penetrated in the Combine homeworld? what? does that even make sense?
