Loot Order

Description
Order a craft to fly around and pick up loot.

** Requires CraftOrderLib **
https://steamproxy.net/workshop/filedetails/?id=1837703287

Useful for collecting those loots that your salvagers miss!

Features:

- Any craft can loot. They will only target items they can actually pick up.
- Collects loots based on a priority. Systems and Turrets first, then money and colors, finally cargo and resources.
- Looters can work along side salvagers.
- Looters work together. They avoid targeting loot near loot already targeted by fellow looters.
- Can be queued on map screen like salvaging, allowing you designate looting then salvaging to make sure those goodies do not despawn.

Future Plans:
- Add a looting command to fighters.

Have fun!

@George Mallory: Nah the loot option for the simple carrier commands mod is broken right now. it deletes your fighters.

If you get the Carrier Commands framework and the Simple Carrier Commands mod, you will have a smart, persistent order-giving menu that happens to have a “loot” command, among other things.

As of 2.0? No, it doesn’t.

I should probably also mention, if you all don’t want to do any of the below, then you can still use the Force Enable option within the mod manager (you have to try enabling it first before this button will appear). The mod will work, you just will have to issue the loot order from sector space through interacting directly with the ship (F -> Orders -> Loot) and not from the map (as the button won’t show on the map).

For anyone interested, this mod actually still mostly works. Just the map command doesn't show (and the game whines about the version number). To fix all of this, just do the following:

First, open the folder for this mod. From your Steam folder, it's: steamapps\workshop\content\445220\1837703287. Open modinfo.lua, scroll down to "dependencies", and on the line with id = "Avorion", change the max = number to "1.*". Save and close.

Next, we need to go into its required mod, CraftOrderLib. Go up one folder level and find and open folder 1837703287. Open modinfo.lua and do the same in here as you did above.

Now, dig in data\scripts\player\map, and open mapcommands.lua. On line 32, where it has table.insert(moddedOrders blah blah blah, change "moddedOrders" to "orders" (all lowercase). On line 36, where it has table.insert(moddedOrderButtons, button), change "moddedOrderButtons" to "orderButtons" (all lowercase except the B). Save and close.

Voila.
